The 503 was torn up for construction immediately east of the 507 for several KM when I went through there on Sunday. It can be bypassed by going up 3 and across the 118.

I used to know someone with a cottage on star lake. I haven't been there in 15+ years but the road wasn't too bad back then, similar to nipissing between 518 and Magnetawan. Looking forward to this, should be a good ride.
