    2010 Suzuki GSxR600 w/ 11k km

Re: 2010 Suzuki GSxR600 w/ 11k km PRICE ADJUSTED Bump for adittional info, I hope it is according to the rules. If there is any interest, please let me know. I already dropped the price to a very reasonable amount, and there is a 90% chance I will be trading the bike in next week if it does...

    2010 Suzuki GSxR600 w/ 11k km

2010 Suzuki GSxR600 w/ 11k km PRICE ADJUSTED THE BIKE IS GONE. TRADED IT IN FOR SOMETHING ELSE. 2010 GSXR 600, bought in 2011, with 11xxx km. The bike is in mint condition, fully stock, meticulously maintained. Blue and white colour. NEVER dropped, crashed or otherwise damaged. The bike has...

2010 GSXR600 metallic residue on the drain bolt magnet

Thanks, that's what I thought. Once I did not see metal flakes I was somewhat sure the bike was ok. Confirmation is awesome.

2010 GSXR600 metallic residue on the drain bolt magnet

Hi guys, I have a 2010 GSXR600 with 11k km. I just did an oil change on it, and when I wiped the drain bolt on a clean paper towel I noticed a very small black smudge that came off the magnet. However there were no visible shiny metal flakes in that smudge, and the oil was perfectly clean...

    Bent frame.Need help please!

Not everyone is made of money to just throw away a perfectly good bike on the off chance the whole frame may be bent. Why would it be a death trap? You take measurements of key points to check the frame is square and that's it. There's no need to panic.

2010 GSXR600 strange electrical bug with the fan

2nd gear. The F650 would lock up the back wheel even in 3rd if you did not jump on it with your full weight, but I found 2nd to work best. Just jump on it and take off. :D Now back to my question please. :P

2010 GSXR600 strange electrical bug with the fan

A bit of back story, a couple of years ago during a VERY hot day, I was riding my 2010 GSXR600 at very low speed for about 20km and the engine started to overheat because the fan did not turn on. Once the temp reached about 110 I shut it down, let it cool, and everything was fine. On restart the...

    Bent frame.Need help please!

Bend it back into shape and it will be just fine. I wouldn't really worry about structural integrity either, as steel is malleable and doesn't fatigue easily. If it were aluminum, then you'd definitely need a replacement. When you do it, my suggestion would be to set the bike on a rear stand and...

Getting out of the supersport scene...

No worries about hijacking my thread, I got all the answers I needed. :) I only have experience with the BMW F650 which is extremely top heavy and somewhat tall. Steel frame, long suspension travel, etc will do that. :P To give you an idea, the GSXR600 feels like a moped both in terms of weight...

    Flat Tire

Most riders in Canada will disagree, but if your sidewall is not damaged, just patch the tire properly and you'll be fine. Besides, if it holds air now, it's likely your valve may have developed a leak.

Getting out of the supersport scene...

Update time... So I've done a lot of reading about ALL the bikes you guys listed here. The Triumph 800XC is now pretty high on my list, along with the KTM Adventure 1190 and the BMW F800GS. However, they are all VERY expensive used, if they even exist at all. Selling my GSXR600, using that...

Getting out of the supersport scene...

Wow, thank you guys so much for your replies. You've given me a LOT to research. Incidentally, I went today for a ride on my GSXR, the first time after the F650. I'm not feeling the bike anymore. The gearing is all wrong for Canada, where I can get a speeding ticket in 1st gear on the 401. And...

Getting out of the supersport scene...

That somewhat narrows it down. The BMW F800GS is expensive, but it's the best compromise in terms of capabilities. As I said above, I have no problems with heavy bikes. The F650 I rode was massively heavy when compared to my GSXR, especially up top. But you adapt, and pretty soon I was running...

Getting out of the supersport scene...

I should have given more info in the original post. Basically I am 6tf, 85kg (190lbs) and I am planning on riding with luggage and maybe pillion of another 60kg. That's why the F650 was lacking in power, especially on slab as MacDoc called it. Once you were on dirt roads though, it was brilliant...

Getting out of the supersport scene...

It's been a very long time since I posted on GTAM, but I figure some of you guys have a lot more experience than I when it comes to bike models out there. And I need some help. So here goes... I just spent a month in Eastern Europe, of which two weeks were on a 1994 BMW F650 single. About...

    Suzuki denies GSXR brake recall???!

I could be out of the loop, and SoN may have changed their practices. But search this site and you'll find quite a few people had less than stellar experiences with their service department.

    Suzuki denies GSXR brake recall???!

I just received my letter in the mail. The last Suzuki dealership I visited was Thorn Hill Suzuki, but they closed down and were bought out by Suzuki of Newmarket. I would just rather not deal with Suzuki of Newmarket. Can anyone please recommend a reputable Suzuki dealer somewhere in the GTA...

    From dealer for cash...

When I bought my SV650 back in 2005, I just looked up all the Suzuki dealers in Ontario on Suzuki's website and cold called every single one of them. I asked what is their price out the door, financing rate and term length. I believe since they were all going through Suzuki for financing, so the...

Full leather for street riding stupid?

You should only wear full leather if you are planning on crashing. At all other times, it's optional. Sarcasm aside, I always wear boots, leather jacket, gloves and (obviously) helmet. I know I should wear the leather pants as well, but dammit they get extremely hot especially in traffic, so...
