Sweet leather motorcycle jacket. European size 42. If you’re around 6 feet tall of average build (up to about 200 lbs) it will likely fit you. Has built in armour in back, elbows and shoulders. Comes with a removable inner liner. Slight wear including a scuff from when I lent it to someone and...
In addition to the bike, I had the greatest non vanity license plate ever. 1A2A3. It had acerbis hand guards, Moose rack on the back. Folding shifter and brake levers.
Used to look like this:

Yeah, the inconvenience would make it so bad that you wouldn't really use the bike, unless it was just for the odd weekend. It was a dual-sport bike, so i rode it on the trails around Barrie and also downtown Toronto. Great bike for both uses actually. It was easy to just hop on and ride it...
Yeah, the building management company gave me a hard time, but then one of the board members more into helping me. If anyone else has any issues with a condo, go speak to the president of the board, or a board member, usually those people tend to care more. The management company was not at...
Mine got stolen the other day. CRF250L. I reconstructed the theft on video using the cameras around the condo building. It's kind of interesting to watch, even though it sucks having the bike stolen. You can see one of the thieves quite clearly in the video.
You can see the video here. The...
I've been riding for 10 years, always lived in Toronto, and I've lived in this building for 5 years. My bike has finally been stolen. I never owned overly expensive bikes, so I thought that's why it's never happened to me. I live in a condo, and there are many cameras (except one right at my...
Whatever you do, don't go north of Algonquin along the very straight trans Canada there. One of the most boring pieces of road. I thought it would be fun to ride back to Toronto by going up and over Algonquin. It turned out to be a straight road full of massive transport kicking up rocks.
If you need dirt bike, or dual sport parts, this is a good website. http://mx1canada.com/
not as cheap as Canada's motorcycle, but has unique items that Canadasmotorcycle doesn't. Free shipping if you order >$99.
Anyone know if there will be good deals on gear at the bike show? I mean to pick up a few things before the season starts. Don't want to spend the $20 or however much it will be to get in though, unless there are good deals. I can just go to a dealership if I want to look at the bikes.
That's what I was thinking. The stock tires on my CRF250L are just OK, so once I replace them, might as well drive studs into them and see what happens.
Seems like ganny interest is high all over, so it's safe to say there will be rides, and I'll be posting them here when they do come up in spring. I think there are no bikes allowed until May 1, so we have some time to fix up our rides before then :) Mine is waiting on a back ordered bolt that...
Where could one go and ride a bike in the snow around here? Many of the trails become snowmobile territory over the winter. Not something I’m trying to pursue right now, but wouldn’t mind trying out. The studded tire kit is not that expensive. Also, I love the lengthy disclaimer, lol...
I've had a couple of people offer me a tour there now since I've been asking around about it. If you're around I can definitely message you closer to the date that it opens for bikes (usually in early May). Maybe we can get a few people out for a easy, beginner ride to the Ganny. We can call...
Not really focused on the Ganny - just the only place I know and have heard people talk about. I'm willing to go anywhere really. If you post something up about a ride in the spring I'll definitely join up.
I've been riding on the street for 10 years now, and I finally got a little dirtbike - CRF250L. I have very little dirt experience - I've done the horseshoe valley offroad course, and I've ridden through Labrador on gravel. I wanted to join a club - but there are way too many. Can anyone...
Good to know about the slag! My inlaws live in Coniston - just outside of Sudbury. There is a really big and unmonitored area with slag near where an old smelter used to be. I've wanted to ride a bike there for some time. It seemed like a bad idea to me..and now I know that it is. Did you...
