I can't get use to the narrow angled inwards bars of the F4i.

F4i = Fuel Injection '02 R6 = Carb '03+ R6 = Fuel Injected I find the F4i more street oriented ergos. R6 more aggressive ergos.

Not sure how similar they are - but I have one of each for an '03 R6.

Grabbed one last time they went on sale. Also great for checking your trailer hubs.

My 80k coil measured Primary 0.3 and Secondary 5.7k. My motor pulled fine to redline on those coils. I'd say your coils are fine.

Re: 2005 R6 Coils Issues - Resistance Tests I looked at my throttle body and there's only the one TPS and a manifold pressure sensor. Maybe 08 is indeed different. I also check my coil resistance, but got some odd #'s?! I can check again tomorrow with another meter.

Re: What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2015 The good news is the new (used) motor pulls well and no perceivable flat spots in the power curve. Wasn't sure what to expect from the slide stops and the generic Graves map. Bike appears to have better throttle response with the slide...

I don't see an issue with trailering and having to worry about your bike down there. I've never heard of people having theft issues, but just be smart about parking your bike. If you stay at two wheels inn, you'll have your own bike garage under lock. If you rent, another option is...
