Re: 2005 R6 Coils Issues - Resistance Tests
I looked at my throttle body and there's only the one TPS and a manifold pressure sensor. Maybe 08 is indeed different.
I also check my coil resistance, but got some odd #'s?! I can check again tomorrow with another meter.
Re: 2005 R6 Coils Issues - Resistance Tests
I'm not aware of the 2nd sensor either. I'll have a look at mine tonight.
I can double check what resistance I'm getting on my coils as well.
Re: 2005 R6 Coils Issues - Resistance Tests
Yes you can calibrate the actual TPS values to the PCIII, so when you are indeed WOT, the map is providing the correct fueling for WOT:
1. Warm up the bike to operating temperature.

While opening throttle, check that value increases linearly.
If you have a power commander, you can check TPS...
Re: What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2015
Good to know. At least my setting isn't out to lunch. Caboose's #'s show that there's a big difference that works for 1-2 and 5-6.

What are you guys/gals running for kill times? I know every bike/trans will have a different sweet spot, however still interested to see what others use.
I'm using a PCIII so I can only cut gas for one universal setting for all gears...
Re: What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2015
The good news is the new (used) motor pulls well and no perceivable flat spots in the power curve. Wasn't sure what to expect from the slide stops and the generic Graves map. Bike appears to have better throttle response with the slide...
Re: What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2015
Put 'B' motor in. Installed Graves slide stops and Graves PC map. 'A' motor will get tranny rebuilt over winter.
I don't see an issue with trailering and having to worry about your bike down there. I've never heard of people having theft issues, but just be smart about parking your bike. If you stay at two wheels inn, you'll have your own bike garage under lock.
If you rent, another option is...
