Hotel / motel in / AirB&B near Grand Bend for Racer5 track days

That's a good idea - I don't have more than one or two tools from any one brand, but possibly one or two from every brand. However, I did just coincidentally receive an inverter from Amazon for Dewalt 20V, and my sister has about a half dozen of those batteries. Plus to @shanekingsley 's...

What's going on in that picture? Are they watching instructional videos? And the white canopies outside - are those individual students' canopies or other? Should I bring my own canopy?

If a dealer - even a sketchy looking lot like that - sells a stolen vehicle, does the buyer have more recourse than the usual caveat emptor?

If so, it'd be nice to touch base with any GTAMers!

Hotel / motel in / AirB&B near Grand Bend for Racer5 track days

If I'm camping or sleeping in my vehicle, is there somewhere I can plug in electrical devices, even just to top off? I likely have to bring my laptop and do some work, and don't want to deal with a generator.

Depends on the definition of "light damage". If it's still there at that price after 2 week, I'd suppose "light" is a bit of an understatement.

    Aluminum foil + Coca-Cola + Motorcycle = Yes???

It's really dead simple. The hardest thing for me was sourcing an old-school charger and making sure the sacrificial rod doesn't short out against the tank - if you're not trying to de-rust the inside of a tank, it's way easier. It might make good follow-up content for you @adri. I know I've...

    Aluminum foil + Coca-Cola + Motorcycle = Yes???

Is kitchen vinegar enough or do you usually need something more concentrated?

    Aluminum foil + Coca-Cola + Motorcycle = Yes???

I understood there was a risk of leaving it in too long and having the vinegar eat the metal. That was my worry - I had no guarantee I was going to be able to get back within 24-hours. The very notion that it COULD eat the metal gave me some pause.

    REV'IT! at Canadian Tire

What’s their profit margin though? And what does that do to the brand? The Eclipse was at the bottom of the REV-IT price list, but the brand attaches to the entire product line and they have a lot of much more expensive products that might be adversely affected. Are people going to be as...

    Aluminum foil + Coca-Cola + Motorcycle = Yes???

What I did when I did electrolysis on my tank was: - plug the drain, - fill it with water and washing soda - jury rigged some rebar bent into an L-shape so that it could project deeper into the recess of the tank. - used some foam that I jammed in the filler hole to hold the rebar in place...

    Aluminum foil + Coca-Cola + Motorcycle = Yes???

BTW - Full disclosure, I know next to nothing about electrolysis. I know there are lots of guys here way more knowledgeable than I. I know @Mad Mike suggested vinegar when I started thinking about derusting my tank and I did go out and buy a bunch of jugs of vinegar; at the end I just didn't...

    Aluminum foil + Coca-Cola + Motorcycle = Yes???

I'll lend you my totally redneck kit if you want! $5 old-school Mastercraft charger from a garage sale (modern ones won't work), box of washing soda, rebar, jumper cables, and a rubbermaid bin. I'll see if I can find some pictures I took. Tons of videos out there, but in real life it's even...

    Aluminum foil + Coca-Cola + Motorcycle = Yes???

Coke will release rust simply by submersion without any aluminum foil or abrasion required. It’s dilute but that just means it needs to be replenished more often, and will take longer than using a more concentrated acid.

    Aluminum foil + Coca-Cola + Motorcycle = Yes???

I fell for it. I watched that video twice trying to find where you dealt with the heavily rusted piece in the teaser picture. I've tried the coke and tin foil on rustier pieces than the one in the video and was disappointed, but I guess I was asking for too much. Electrolysis on the other...

What did you do in your garage today..?

It seems like there may not be anything Dawn doesn’t do. Washing dishes, setting tire beads, breaking down poison ivy oil, acting as an insecticide and suffocating fleas, keeping your visor and glasses fog free, keeping your hands clean before they get dirty. Anything else?

    Portable Tire Inflators

I just got this from Amazon. I had to see what it could do for $20. https://a.co/d/0gLG2r1u Build quality definitely not the same as my Noco or even Fanttik products, but it’s $20 for both compressor and jump pack (and of course the now ubiquitous power bank). It would not be choice in the...
