Yeah u might be right...I should look into some pricing for a new mount. For now I am out too much $$ for my new ride...Will avoid the bumps ;-)

A couple of brackets and bolts from Canadian Tire do the work...Sometimes after riding if I have gone over lots of bumps I find the plate bent inwards, but doesn't bother me too much...for now (I had to lower the bike since it was way too tall for me). Might look into changing that one day though.
