I'm just curious, it seems like traffic violations and/or penalties are never wholly accurate. A person gets pulled over going 153, and asks to plead it down to 130, or whatever. Cops routinely reduce the speed of drivers on tickets, for what, a courtesy? As leverage to assure they dont fight...
All I can say is, that email they sent you is a testament to their poor customer service. Although he might be right, and you were being impatient, to send a customer a berating email like that is totally unprofessional. Its part of customer service to deal effectively with upset customers that...
I'm not debating what we can and cant control. I'm only suggesting we place blame where it belongs. I dont see why one seems to negate the other. If a biker comes on here complaining that he almost got taken out in traffic, I think it sucks the first thing everybody wants to do is condemn them...
I was in the right hand lane. I had one car merge towards my rear end from behind forcing me to speed up,, and at that point another car attempted to merge into the space I was being forced into. Both cars, together, forced me into the curb before seeing me and giving me some space. Then the...
Its not always possible. Like I posted a while ago I almost got run off of bloor st by 2 cars at the same damn time 2 weeks ago, attempting to merge basically into each other with me in the middle. Yes, riders have to always be aware of their actions. But this doesnt excuse these cagers.
The...
Its not always possible, especially in heavy traffic, to avoid being in someones blindspot. It is, however, always possible to look and signal before changing lanes.
These cagers need to own this.
Got mine today. Pretty cool. I would suggest mounting it so that it directs upwards slightly. I did mine straight ahead and my maiden voyage caught alot more of the front of my bike than I think I like.
It seems to do a great job of catching action on the opposite side of the mount. I was...
i got an email stating basically that as "as soon as the iten becomes available" it will be shipped. I ordered on Aug 2. You would think if it was half off they would have them in stock and ready to ship.
Yeah I agree. I get into so many near miss situations I'd love to be able to have video documentation. I'd probably just use it for my daily commute. I was on the fence until this post, then I decided the price was too good to pass up.
I think its more likely she is one of the 50% or so of drivers that seem to feel signalling is optional than the cop has decided to lie. But if I'm wrong, I apologise for my stern smiley
