    Corbin seats in Canada?

That's a good idea thanks. Can I ask, do all corbin seats have the option of adding a backrest? I have a backrest I want to be able to use with the seat. Do you think the one on that bike would allow me to use it, or is that something I would specifically ask for in a seat being made?

    Corbin seats in Canada?

Thanks all. I called - A vicious cycle and was told they are all made to order and will take around 10 weeks. I was really hoping for something before the long weekend, as I cant really ride without one. If anyone knows of a plain black one for an m109r that's kicking around please let me know.

Hi all. I'm going to be needing a Corbin seat pretty soon for a new bike. I'm tryng to get everything in order by the long weekend. Do you guys know of any local shops, or at least Canadian websites where I can buy one right away? Do you know what the turnover to buy directly from Corbin is...

    Suggestions for tailbone/lower back pain

My intention was not to ask for medical advice. I just want to know how other riders manage. What sort of devices might exist, that sort of thing. Ughh - this is frustrating this forum wont let me use my "enter" key to make a new paragraph. - I have not been back to the fracture clinic. That was...

    Suggestions for tailbone/lower back pain

Thanks for sharing guys. Shane, I have not had any luck with the donut or wedge pillows at work, so I'm skeptical it would work on the bike. The core training is what I need to keep up with. Ive always been unfit in my midsection, from what people are saying this is probably a root of the...

    Suggestions for tailbone/lower back pain

Hi all. Sorry if this has been done before, i searched but didnt come up with anything. I had a bit of a fall (down my stairs) in July and broke my tailbone. The doctors said it was a minor break and that it would take 4-6 weeks to heal, but its now Dec and I'm still in a lot of discomfort...

Café Ray, lol. Everyone else - I really don't know the specifics. I have another member that I'm working on at the moment that will hopefully be accepted. My friend didn't mention anything about measurements but I assume there should be some similarity. To be honest I don't think they're too...

    Movie extra/actor needed

Hi all. I have some friends that work in film and from time to time help them find props/extras etc..., mostly when they need biker types. If anyone fits the bill and is interested, let me know and i'll forward you his number. You'll need to send him pics of you and your bike. Please note, that...

    Surviving the wind?

Ive been gusted into places I didnt want to be before. Once coming back from Niagara Falls on that big bridge the the weather was really getting aggressive and I was blown totally against my control from the center to the right lane. 2 up too. I was riding behind another guy that was also...

    Value of Parking Ticket: $150

Damn that's good info. Now that the rates have jacked especially. I recently got my 3rd parking ticket after some jerk actually moved my bike outside a parking zone, but outside of that Ive never been more than 15 minutes late. OP, it looks like they actually went easy on you by marking it 4:05...

    Brake checking vs tailgating

Bike Cop. Great answer. Thank you, that's all very reasonable. Zx600 If you read my posts. You'd see I state that I'm talking about being in the right lane, on ramps etc...I also never said I'm always being tailgated. I tend to do the speed limit and ride in the right or middle lane. There is...

    Brake checking vs tailgating

Agreed, "don't be in the situation" doesn't add a lot to the conversation. Nobbie48, thanks for the HTA section. Again, I wonder if not actually changing speed when doing it makes a difference. I have also done the "off the throttle move" indicating "look man, I'm not speeding up so pass". But...

    Brake checking vs tailgating

Dont know if you guys have noticed all the potholes on those roads this spring. Ive been pretty weary of them. If I'm in the right lane, doing my thing, or on a ramp, I really feel entitled to that space even if I have the gall to just be riding at the speed limit. Speeding up is not a...

    Brake checking vs tailgating

Hi all. Ive been reading some posts on the board that mention brake checking and how bad it is. I have never given it much thought. Obviously, actually braking when you are being tailgated is stupid. However, Ive long been in the habit of "flickering" my brake light when I'm being tailgated...
