    Best Quickshifter

IMO. Annitori = Best bang for your buck. Awesome support.Guy replaces the parts for free (under warranty). Translogic = Best possible quickshifter you can get.Used in Moto2, WSBK, I could go on. I have it on my race bike and it's incredibly smooth.

Honda Rebel 500 or latest Gen Sv650 or ???

Go test out the FZ-07 or FZ-09. I loved my FZ-07, then eventually went to an FZ-10 for the road. Super comfortable, can keep up with faster-paced groups, tons of fun engine-wise, super reliable.. I could go on. If however you feel like going the cruiser route, the Rebel 500 isn't a bad choice.

where are all the end of season track bike deals??

Friend and I picked up this bike :) Awesome seeing videos of the bike in action by @doozerdave and @Kawyman but the bike has gone to a good home and will be at GB this year (probably in July).

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Where does it say it's a track bike / used to be? I'll try to make the ad clearer :). It's never been on the track. SS is a tough time for selling due to people not being able to get insurance on SS lately :(

Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

@Katatonic weird flex but okay @Sebi I plan to do a trip down to Pittsburgh for their track. Same distance as Shannonville but better tarmac. I'm hoping that PittRace is just as good as what the people in the track pit say.

How are you getting your vitamin M?

I got about 30 people interested in doing this in Ontario.. Got names and everything. Then I created a very-detailed e-mail as well as researched some liability / insurance practices for running mini-moto. I sent this off to 401 Mini Indy as well as Hamilton Indoor Go-karts and I got a flat...

Having 2 bikes (SS + Standard) for the street?

Terra Cotta, Forks of the Credit (albit there's a ton of traffic), a few routes near where I live (Elora / Paris). It's not like I'm getting my knee down on public roads, but rather even at slow speeds the FZ-07 cornering ability is hindering and doesn't feel very much planted. I'll need to...

Having 2 bikes (SS + Standard) for the street?

Yeah, it's fun around town, but when you're canyon carving it really doesn't feel "planted" without spending a ton of money on suspension. Already got a bike for track duty :) The frustration I have could reside from the fact that the group rides I go on usually consist of windy / twisty...

Having 2 bikes (SS + Standard) for the street?

Yeah, I ended up getting quotes for better rear + front and it worked out to be either $1.8k (cheap route) upwards to $2.5k. Although this is with a cartridge kit for the front and an adjustable suspension on the back rather than thicker oil / new springs. Even so, people have done it on the...

Having 2 bikes (SS + Standard) for the street?

In a nutshell, I'm bored of my FZ-07. It's *extremely* fun around town and being an outright hooligan, but the second you hit the twisties the suspension falls flat on its face. I looked into getting upgraded suspension and after working it all out (rear + front + installation) it'd work out to...

Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

Yeah! It was awesome. Although I really need to work on gearing, it seems so simple, but I'm still getting used to the "feel" coming off the street bike, that and the fact that I did an awful misshift and came off. I'm glad I went into intermediate though. Even though intermediate also had some...

I remember you saying that it was getting quite hot at grand bend, did you end up RMA'ing / warranty returning the rear shock?

Looks like it'll be modified! On a side note, what kind of maintainence schedule do you guys follow for your track bikes? Coolant and oil change every 6 track days? What else?

Any good suspension tuners around in Kitchener / Waterloo? My bike is fine, but I'd rather get sag setup by a pro!

Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

Had my first track day at TPM on Sunday, and apart from the washrooms, the track was great! Many sessions out and it was a nice hot day. I checked my rear tire after and I noticed a bit of wear in the front of the grooves. The bike performed great, but online suggested that I harden my rebound...
