Get whatever bike you like. 1000cc is easy to ride if you can respect it. They can suprise you quickly also so its all about throttle management. If you can keep the throttle in check then ignore the negativaty. BTW the F4 has the best sounding exhaust in the pack IMO.
Royal does have maintenance parts for the MV's if needed. Nothing against Sturgess, but I doubt that they have a good service center for MV's seeing as they just picked up the line and have no experience servicing them. Anyone can take apart a bike with a manual but there is a learning curve...
That is what they do for service. They don't want to have their own service shop. Wouldn't make sense. MV bikes don't sell in high volumes and aren't expected to. The left over 2011 F4's are from the first year they started carrying the MV line. Takes time to get word out and buyers...
I haven't had any issues with parts. For regular maintenance I ordered the oil filter a few weeks before i needed it. Royal Distributing still received it in a couple days. Basic parts don't come from Italy they come from the Canadian supplier in Canada. If the bike needs work done, theres...
Pretty sure i had the only mv at pd. I had a guy ask me about it, got the impression he thought its a pos that royal sells. I prefer to think of it as the most rare bike at pd. Seen enough harleys to last for a few years.
