How 'bout sticking with a cruiser/standard for the next year or two, perhaps something from the 80s. Def cheaper rates. Not sure how a dual sport would be rated but it wouldn't hurt to consider your options.
Unless money isn't an issue, you're SOL

With the way the 401 gets sometimes, I wouldn't need the help of 300 other riders to hold back traffic
How does your bike last sitting in -10 weather for hours? Does it start up just fine?
my bike barely starts if left outside for more than an hour in <5 degs
I'm buying it for about $300. The seller argues, and from other opinions on other forums, the Yoshi Duplex is one of the most popular for my bike ('90 gixxer 750L) and that it still holds its value.
Full exhaust system. No pics yet. But he says the rust can be sanded off and suggested to throw...
Hey good people!
I've been treading on the idea to buy a used Yoshimura Duplex exhaust for my gixxer oiler.
Owner says it's rusted inside and outside. But I'm not certain if a simple clean up would do the trick. How would I know if the pipe is beyond repairable?
And any tips on getting the...

..an idea that many riders don't understand. WE control the bikes. It isn't a cagers' fault if they don't see us. We have to anticipate it and react accordingly.
It grinds my gears when riders flip off or get angry with...
I never understood the point of a warning sign for a red-light/speed camera up ahead. What is it's purpose? Is there a law that it's abiding to? The only thing I could think of is some sort of privacy statue stating that we have to be informed if we're being taped/recorded.

I see both sides of the coin here, and in the end, I'm for PhotoRadar. I'll just have to take my trollage outside city limits.

Hey Thanks for this! Now that's what I'm talking 'bout!
This week looks amazing! But I"m going from the 21-28th. It's looking decent then. We'll see when I get there. I'm sure I'll be more swamped with family stuff.
REVRANDY!
If you're still around when I get there, care to do a day tour?
Saw a few riders out yesterday! Glad to see y'all soldiering through winter
1. Neilson/Ellesmere - looks like a grey VFR/Versys? Some sort of cross tourer
2. Ruckus - I think it was around Mt.Pleasant? loving that thing!
3. Chopper in front of UofT on College/King'sCollege.
4. And a couple...
Oh wow really? I was banking on atleast 10-12. Didn't know it got THAT cold in the southern States.
Think they'd reroute my plane to cuba instead? =D
At least there's no snow?
I'm getting that itch! That withdrawal that I just can't fix without riding. I sometimes just turn on the bike and rev it up to get that endorphin rush.
Well, to my luck, it looks like I'll be taking a trip down south this winter.
Can anyone recommend a place in the Dallas area to rent a bike...
I don't know you but I officially hate your guts! =P
Enjoy the new ride! I'm completely envious.
If I may ask, how much were you able to trade your old ride for and what was it?
Sell it and get a 125/250/300/400/500
Learn how to RIDE first! Even if you've ridden in another country, riding in Toronto is totally different. And same goes for any city/country. Learn the environment, learn the driver's mentality, learn that you're not invincible; rather INVISIBLE to drivers...
