What is the point of recommending oil when there's purpose-made chain lubes that aren't going to fling and are going to repel dirt? If you're using regular oil you're going to be spending a lot more time keeping things clean.

Dupont Teflon Chain Saver. Lowe's is the only place that stocks it. Has a motorcycle on the can. Self cleans. There's no reason to talk about anything else, just use this. Do not pressure wash an o-ring chain. I'm sure you're going to say "well mine's fine"

Give me a break, a "proper" safety might tell you to do things like change your exhaust back to stock, change aftermarket turn signals back to stock, put the original fender back on, etc.
