Of that list only and air filter service has been done to my knowledge. Bike has 19k miles.
Carb sync is my next plan, but i'll probably wait until end of the season if I can.
They were all roughly the same condition yes. The previous owner told me it was purposely tuned to run a bit rich, I can't remember the exact reason, but he said it was common for this bike. Here is a picture of two:

Yes they are.
It runs well fairly smooth now, almost back to normal, except for some strange behavior with the throttle. Either a slight lag when revving, and/or it hangs for a bit longer than normal, not really sure. Although it is only noticeable when revving in neutral. The other change...
Up and running again!!! Seems to be back to normal, although have not ridden it yet. Pretty confident that carb clean fixed it though. Spark plugs were black and sooty but i gave them a quick clean and put em back in anyway.
UPDATE: after riding the bike seems like the throttle response is out...
trying to fill carb bowls now without killing battery... tried jumping fuel pump to battery and even that is not working. fuel pump clicks on then does nothing?? i can see fuel move around in the filter for a split second but then it stops, and makes no noise.
Going to try again tomorrow with...
I can see a minor difference when looking closely and shining light from behind while they are closed. They all show a sliver of light, but one sliver is slightly larger with close examination.
Carbs have been thoroughly cleaned. They looks pretty good to me (cleaned 1.5 years ago), although there was a possible blockage for one of the fuel inlets or outlets in one carb, and a pilot jet or two partially restricted. Hoping that will do the job, but there was nothing that really stood...
I started stripping the bike down already, before reading the second half of these comments. I plan on pulling the carbs on the weekend, hoping it will be something obvious to the untrained eye, because I've never done this before! Thanks for all the replies so far, I will update with any news...
Thanks, definitely helpful. My only game plan at this point was to pull the carbs, so this encourages me. If anyone has any other easier things I could check first, that would also be great.
2007 Kawi ZZR-600 (Carbureted).
Bike fell over in the driveway this morning (was not running). Started up fine and rode it to work, nothing unusual. 8 hours later at work I started it up fine again, but after rolling the choke off I realised it was idling very low (1k vs the usual 1.5k), and...
I went with an SJCAM SJ4000 last year. $120 shipped with all mounts. Here is some demo footage I put together after my first week:

Added one more picture to the bottom of the OP to give a better idea of the actual extent of the damage, I don't find it as noticeable in person as it is in the pictures either. Certainly not what I would consider a write off.
So my ninja 250 sat for about 5 full days (easily the longest its gone without starting since the winter). Never once has it had trouble starting. But today I tried starting it and each time it would start (weakly) and then the rpms would drop and it would stall after a second or two. This...
Unfortunately it looks like the right rotor is bent/warped. I can visually see it move by about 1mm when I put a fixed reference beside the right rotor and spin the front wheel. And to confirm, I disconnected the right caliper and the front end stopped bouncing/slipping during my test ride.
Is...
Purchased a new bike recently (2007 ZZR600). Yesterday I noticed a very unstable bobble/shake feeling while braking (only tested at low speeds). The more I slow down the more pronounced it becomes.
Today I tested some more and I'm fairly certain that I'm feeling slippage in the brakes. At a...
