^^ agreed I never crashed until I reached Red Group and got real comfortable there, started pushing the bike and my personal limits. It's also important to point out that if your going to crash a bike it's better that it happens at a track for numerous reasons.

I don't know which would be worse for the neighbours.... a race track or a Wind-farm, probably both hated equally.

I have a 10 year term insurance policy that was taken out 1 year before I started track riding, I was covered on the track as long as it wasn't a race... The reason explained to me as to why I was covered was I was not participating in Track Days prior to taking out the policy and did not try to...

Yeah, I've raced but not motorcycles... I hear ya.

I've never considered racing... Track Days let me do my thing when I wanted to do it (no commitment), I got my speed and adrenaline rush even thou there was no prize at the end.

HEH.. that's one thing I wish I could have bettered, that 1:15:28 lap time will forever be burned in my memory... came very very close but no cigar. ;) I'd like to know who did a more consistent continual 1:15 lap time?? :)

Yes, you are correct... I've had some experiences with cold pavement but that doesn't mean I want to talk anyone out of a track day, please have fun!
