TCAT, RAP and other trips for summer - the gear list thread...

I think your link may be incorrect, unless drinking cognac is required for the hammock thing, which may not be a bad idea.

The desert would be cool. The trip I am speaking of is to the two small french islands just south of nfld, it just sounds cool to say I rode to France from canada, I am guessing it would be a trip to nfld with a short ferry to the islands.

Yup, better to wait 20 min on the trail for slow riders than a couple of hours for a medivac. Always wanted to do an off road ride to France, (st. Pierre / Miquelon), not too sure about the feasibility though. Guess. Need to do some research etc.

Any ride you make it home from a good ride in my books...that would be the kind of riding I like. My options for offroad motocamping are a klr with hard luggage or a heavily modified big red pig. Leaning towards the pig as it is lighter than the klr would be better suited for woods/single...

    Beginning bike question

The first right hand turn and then riding the associated curve back and forth and stopping with your front wheel in the box comprise the first four testing exercises, even though they run all together at the start of the test. Given that you can accumulate 5 demerit points on any one exercise...

    Boots with Ankle Hinge Design

Re: Boots with Ankle Hinge Design? Rider's choice is the kind of store you have to go down to in person and look around, even then they can treat you like you are a pain in their collective arses. They do have lot's of primo stuff though. Worth checking out the place. I got my daytonas there.

Too many bikes on road to wave these days

Surprised me as well, didn't notice it was an officer until we almost abreast of each other. I usually wave at bike cops as I figure they are probably riders before they are cops, if that makes any sense. More so I often wonder if he/she had the inclination could they charge me with 'stunting'...
