What is a good but cheap brand? Also I have hand guards so hopefully can fit right over. I see a few on amazon but the opening seems tight to fit over hand guard, unlike the hippo hands but those are like $100+

@timtune I did,. And it might be the cheapest and more effective way since I don't ride too much and not for long distances under the -10c mark. Might not be worth investing $100 in parts and $1-200 in labor. By the time I decide it'll be spring lol

I got my 2016 ninja 300 brand new @ 5k in 2017 july, , used it for 2 years and traded it in for 2k. Felt like I got scammed but I did push the bike a lot and honestly it's like $100/ month which is much cheaper than if I had to insure a car, parking space, etc. And all the smiles that came along...

My ninja 300 can handle highway 4 series fine, but gotta plan the overtake, drop a gear and go for it. Otherwise just ride super defensively. As soon as I'm 2 up though, it's on the scary side. Wot and it ain't going anywhere. Uphill, front wind, 2up, I max out at 130ish lol. Super hard to pass...

Age wise, under 30, cheaper insurance for me, as much as I wanted the 650 wee or sv. Height wise, I went with the x as the f felt cramped. Otherwise, good stepping stone for sure before insurance becomes more budget friendly for the 650 cc stuff.

Definitely an option! Ya I have deflectors, so just my finger tips get cold after 45+ mins. But really on the fence as I can't install them myself.. So we're talking like 1-2 hr labor? And do I really ride more than an hr during the colder days? Hmmmm

@DoubleJ I will check thanks ? the exhaust is secure on the rear peg, just the vibrations will shake it loose, so the entire thing shifts slightly backwards @Gary no no I'm not doing a coffman, I just checked the size to see what the inner is.
