    R1 vs CBR600RR...

Either CBR or R1 get some good tires. Note that your weight + the bike's power/weight on a litre will make it more difficult to steer in typical street riding. Just a heads up. Otherwise litre are quite the thrill! I personally would prefer a v-twin or V4 bike for the street. Those are fun as...

    VOS Motors

Slightly overcharged for the bike, but there a business so expect a mark up. Otherwise i haven't found too many issues. Dont always expect the bike to be in perfect condition but good condition is realistic. There good at picking out bikes in good condition. Im replacing some parts with...

    Advice on alarm systems

~$600 for a $11000 + ( mods ) bike. Thats a deal. Theft is big so every step can give an advantage. Most thieves are lazy. Im on the 1st floor of a condo so l get a weak signal from the garage. It's pretty much not worth the effort to steal.

    Advice on alarm systems

proper Chain/lock ( a hard core chain ) alarm bike cover It wont stop the elite theives but will knock off the grand majority of small time theives. Another option is to get a scorpio alarm and park close by to the app unit. You get plenty of time to react to a theive and you can look out the...

Advantages and disadvantages of graduated licensing?

Maybe the better thing to do is to give a conditional suspensions. Let people choose what the hell they want but they can easily get suspensed. Want a litre and get caught speeding or crashing, guess what? Your suspensed based on the categories. 1L = 2 months, 600cc = 1weeks, 250cc = 3 days...

Advantages and disadvantages of graduated licensing?

I dont trust the new crop of riders. They talk nothing but specs, which isnt always practical. Always ready to jump from a 250cc -> 1000cc and can completely justify the jump. They talk like somehow they are invicible to crashing instead of being aware of the possiblity. The majority of SS ive...

Get a fireblade now or wait for 2012?

Ducati are expensive as hell, but l would still buy a couple throughout my riding career. Technically the Aprilla RSV4 is top of my list, and it going to kill my wallet but im not detered at all. Just means i'll have to buy a cheaper used car for my off days. i would never buy a new bike unless...

Get a fireblade now or wait for 2012?

About time honda made a V4. The RC51 was an amazing bike, but they did a good job with the midrange on the CBR. The RC51 is was too heavy and a dated, but l still respect the bike. If they build one im completely sold when l get the chance upgrade to a full litre.

    520 Chain on a 07 gixxer 600

What do you mean by shorter gearing? I had assume -1 (15) in the front and a +2 (45) in the rear would be the exact same as +3 (46) in the rear

    Buddy crashed this morning!

I do high Viz gear and bike colour as well. I got smoked by a cager, that didnt see me. At the time l had a dark grey bike but with a white leather jacket and black helmet. To make matters worst l was masked by a navy blue van. She was obviously distracted but on some level l can understand that...
