Thanks for the recommendation. I gave him a call and just signed up for insurance with him on my bike.
CBR500R for $1300, no collision.
He was friendly and helpful.
I went to Burlington Cycle for the gear after checking out the bike at the dealership. Bought some fancy boots that were on sale, a helmet, and gloves. The guy at the counter said I picked out the right stuff because it was mostly on sale, and a lot of people tend to buy the same thing...
I'm sitting at a dealership right now after looking at a bike. I'm wondering where around the Milton area I can go to buy gear like a helmet, shoes, etc?
thanks
Thanks. Yeah, I'm calling a couple places now. I've got a Quote from RidersPlus for 1200, Aviva for 2100, and I'm just getting in touch with Dalton Timmis now.
I don't know why there's such a big jump between the two, or is that normal?
I think the problem with me is that I got a speeding ticket last year for 15 over, and also had an insurance claim from when I was t-boned and wrote off my truck, even though it was the other drivers fault.
Went to the Oakville location yesterday after work sonce I was working a block away. Got there at 3:30, they close at 5. Was told that I can't book my M1 cause they're already booked up to the point of closing.. Guess I'll be going Friday, or tomorrow if I don't have work.
and yeah, I called a...
That's what I was thinking too. The bikes I'm looking at are only 3 grand, and the number he told me that he pays verses the number I was quoted means that I'm paying a grand more for the full coverage compared to if I just got liability on it.
You're right, but I'm looking for peoples opinions on what my best option might be. I don't have anyone helping me with this vehicle (motorcycle) purchase, so I have to figure it out somehow...
The videos I've watched and am watching now show extra things like a bike stand and canyon straps...
I know that the obvious answer would be full coverage just to keep your *** completely covered in case anything happens, but I feel like I don't need everything covered with my preowned bike.
I live in a fairly safe town (Around Burlington area) and the bike will be stored in a security system...
I'm getting closer to buying my first bike, but am having a hard time trying to figure out a way to transport the bike back to my place.
I'll have my M1 and exit course complete when I buy the bike, but how do I get it back to my house?
I have a rather large, lifted truck... So lifting the...
Alright thanks, I'd have to go to the Burlington one, which is always packed. I don't work Fridays and went there around 1pm last week and it was lined up out the door so I just turned around and left.
Hoping someone with a similar situation can chime in here.
I'm wanting to write my M1 tomorrow after work, which means I'll get to the DriveTest location around 4pm, but they close at 5.
Do you think they'll let me write, or will it be too late since there's usually a short waiting period...
I'm struggling here.. I keep asking so many questions about starting out, and here's another one..
I'm 6'4'' and 210lbs, long legged.
I've been leaning towards the Ninja 300 since the only other bike I thought would be a good starter bike would be a GS500, but those aren't exactly my style. I...
