    Track Day Bike help

There were a couple a year at Cayuga. Just two. I took the Ninja 250 there the last few times. They won't let modern sport bikes on there but don't mind if 250's go out. Pointless buying a bike just for those when there are so many other options, like you said.

Horses: We've had cars for well over 100 years and people still ride them.

    Track Day Bike help

Yeaup. Selling one of my street bikes this spring because I didn't get enough use out of it with all the track weekends. And just keeping the dirt-cheap-to-insure 250 dual sport on the road. There's a handful of sv650's and ex500's for sale from the guys who race at Shannonville. Message JoeyB.

RACE mentor program - mentor needed

Do you have a license? Have you done track days? What type of bike do you have and is it race prepped (safety wired etc)? There are lots of helpful people at Shanonville, especially the lightweight group. It'd be easiest if you expressed your intensions and a little bit about yourself....there's...

    Ice riding gear

I've only gone a few times. I found that I got hot quickly once riding. It's very physically engaging. And I got cold rapidly when standing around...so I'd get back out and ride. Top - Wicking under layer (same as race suit), long sleeve tee shirt, hoodie, normal winter jacket bottom - wicking...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

He does say performance wise, it makes a difference from stock though.

    MotoGP 2018

Sounds reasonable if you can record to watch later. Do they do commercial breaks or broadcast the races straight through? I like having the files to watch on laptop when I'm on the road. BEIN doesn't really work for that.

    1987 Sportster value?

Z I can't find my laptimer right now...but after watching a couple videos from race weekends and knowing corner speeds etc, apx 50km up to 145km in ten-ish seconds on a Ninja 250. The 300 will obvious do better. There's this video on youtube...but this dood is shifting above the optimal power...

Hmmm....something looks fishy to me about this

Even if it was dropped and the tail piece was replaced, it more than likely would have no affect on anything that actually matters mechanically. Unless, of course, you can see other damage. Looks fine from the photos though. Purely an aesthetics thing, which would have been fixed if they did...

    Bespoke panniers Interest

Nice work! $350 would be an amazing price point. If you can build them and it's worth your time at that price, I'm sure you'll be busy when word gets out.

    Mmmmmm Carbon fiber....

Looks great! If you're after the look and not the weight savings, look in to hydro dipping/hydro graphics. You can make almost any part have a similar look.

Yeah, that doesn't really make a ton of sense to me either.

Which Ninja 300 Model would you choose?

Was that because it was insuring a financed bike VS a bike that's bought in cash?
