    Marshall pay at track/race days

No, I don't think they're getting rich but if money is exchanging hands and people are working and critical to make the event successful, it's fair they should be compensated with something. Obviously minor hockey is a different world and more people involved, but referees for tyke house...

    Marshall pay at track/race days

Sounds like fun, depending on the level of responsibility. But that's also access to high level racing and BIG events. No offence to the "pros" at regional races but checking off all those boxes isn't the same value.

Out of curiosity, do you watch or play any non-motorsport sports? Or other motor sports?

ohhhh boy. Especially race starts!!! 20-30 bikes going in to turn 1 and 2 is amazing. At any track, not just Mosport.

Second year riding, thinking of heading to Florida in May.

If you're comfortable on the gauntlet of the 401 on your CBR300, American highways between cities will be easy.

Second year riding, thinking of heading to Florida in May.

When in April are you able to leave? Judging from the weather, you might want to bomb it south on the highway to Virginia and stay on the east side of the mountains. Seems to have been warmer on that side recently. Weather changes quickly around there as well. A couple winters ago, I slept in my...

    Fuel Tank Dent (Need Help)

Not to me. You could buy good quality rattle can paint, some bondo, sand papper, clear coat and the rest of the stuff locally for less....and learn how to repair it expecting DIY first time results. If you're only worried about rust, just sand/paint around the damaged area, then hit it with some...

    Fuel Tank Dent (Need Help)

Maybe but you'll be sitting on that $200 for a while and looking for that $400 good condition, same colour tank for probably longer, if you want local. People part these bikes out when they're wrecked and the tank is usually part of that mess. This is the only good black one on eBay sub-$400...

    Fuel Tank Dent (Need Help)

Paint it to protect from rust. Then slap one of these cheapo covers on it. Will also protect from future dents. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Kawasaki-Ninja-300-ZX250-Fuel-Tank-Cover-Protector-Fairing-Carbon-Fiber-Fibre/292324725998?hash=item440fe954ee:g:4EkAAOSwgQ9VqB7i&vxp=mtr

Where do you get your tires from?

Kennedy Motorsports is also at all of the RACE events at Shannonville and SOAR events at GB. He does carry DOT tires that are track oriented as well.

Florida roads are just as boring as Ontario roads except way smoother. Rented a hard tail hilarious chopper for 4 days there once. Great if you want to hang around beaches and warmth but ride factor was terrible. That hardtail chopper on the other hand, was the most hilariously painful thing to...

Second year riding, thinking of heading to Florida in May.

Never trust a man about spending time in urban areas after they admit they drink Bud Light, or anything close haha. Also take note that everyone seems to be posting giant cruiser photos and will usually tell you a small bike can't do the job. It'll be a bit more difficult but doable. I'd...

You can do both city/party and rural/camping in the same long trip. You just need to be strategic and I think that budget will have to increase a bit for 20 days. Or perhaps look in to couch surfing? Even camping is $40 a night for a site. Super cheap if you're splitting it but adds up when...

Second year riding, thinking of heading to Florida in May.

The best roads you'll hit on the routes you've listed are between Scranton and the north east part of Pennsylvania. That's assuming you don't take the highways until you're near Hwy 219. When you look at the "wild lands" of P.A., the big chunks with no highways, all green and no towns, those...

Second year riding, thinking of heading to Florida in May.

Rarely ever traffic in Detroit from my experience there. If you love proper techno, it's a must stop for the "full on clubbing" part of the trip. Atlanta is a mess EVERYWHERE for traffic. I stopped there for a couple nights on the way to New Orleans. Decent nightlife but you really need to do...

Holy tits, that sucks haha. Wasn't saying it's impossible. But if the bikes tires were clearly at the end of it's life on those rock hard OEM tires, the 2300km speedo on a 2013 is more than likely ********.

4 hours is no prob on a CBR300. Party it up but DO NOT ride hung over. Just as bad as being drunk on a bike. By the sounds of it, you'll be taking mostly highway between cities and riding a giant circle around the best part of eastern USA, the Appalachian mountains. If highways are exciting...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Good points but you can see inside the tank and if it magically starts, then the carbs are good for the season. Only a gamble if you buy it blind. The seller would have to let you take a few things off to check, like the wheels and poke around underneath the tank to see hoses..
