Great description, thanks. I have a hoist I can support the front with, also have a motorcycle jack so I should be good there.

It would seem it's not low on oil then because it seems to travel smoothly, I am used to riding in dirt, i realize that off road bikes tend to be stiffer but on the GS i find it dives too much when braking hard or with a passenger.

Thanks for the input guys. My intent is to stiffen the front springs. They are a bit squishy for my liking. Not sure if the springs are worn or maybe just low on oil, or maybe just worn oil. I bought the bike used and have no idea if the fork oil has ever been changed. My goal is to change the...
No. I traded a 71 Pontiac lemans for a 94 GSXR1100, Bought a 09 GS500F at a dealership as-is for $1000. The GSX1100G was the only free one lol.
but the GS was a sweet deal too.
Thanks, I'm sure the next guy that drove by would have snagged it. I had to have a "Share Holders" meeting when I got home. its the third bike in less than a month I've brought home lol. :ROFLMAO:

The guy was pushing it to the end of his driveway with a free sign on it. needs fork seal and a tail light. I haven't had it running yet but assume it will need the cards cleaned.
He loves the bike, it is one of many dropped and stretched bikes he has built. I've been around custom cars and bikes my whole life, I grew up in a body shop and this guy ranks up there with some of the best I've seen. The look of this bike may not be for everyone but what matters is that he...
I wouldn't argue that, however if you know the guy you are aware that he builds for himself not for re-sale. I have different artistic vision but can't dispute or deny his talent.
