My Arai Quantum 2 fogs up from time to time. I just crack open the visor slightly and the fog is gone right away. I guess they all fog up under the right circumstances. Both Shoei and Arai are great helmets, just get whichever fits you better and whichever you like more.
The only way you can tell the difference between various tires is to go for a spin, then come back to a garage, swap the tires, go for another spin, then come back to the garage and swap again. Do this all day long and then you will notice any difference.
If you aren't doing the above, then...
I never removed the battery from any of my bikes over the last decade of riding, during winter storage and every single bike would start at the beginning of new season without any problems. :)
Here is my de-winterizing process...
Step 1 : Put key in ignition
Step 2: Turn bike on
Step 3: Ride bike till next winter.
:)
Yeah, I never winterize my bikes, it's completely unnecessary.

What is it with all these new riders buying 250's and 125's? might as well ride bicycles instead, no gas needed on a bicycle, no insurance needed, much cheaper and yet you get the same feel and "performance". Whoever put in your head that you need to start riding on these bikes first...
When I buy tires I get whatever is the cheapest, it's all the same **** when you ride on the streets it's a freaken tire what's so special about it? Bought a pair for my bike at the end of last season and couldn't tell you what they are without going to the garage and reading the label, who cares.
