    Toronto Harley/Ducatti dealer closed?

Yes but places such as McBrides and Cycle World went out of business way before the economy went to ****.

    Toronto Harley/Ducatti dealer closed?

So many big bike dealerships went under over the last 10 -15 years. Places such as McBrides, Cycle World (Etobicoke), Envy Rides, now this place etc etc. I wonder what went wrong, greedy and unrealistic owners probably.

Trailer rental or home depot van?

Well, I've rented from them a few times (a van, a cube van and trailers) and never had any major problems, trailers were in decent shape, van was in excellent shape, it was brand new. Cube van was a piece of **** though, very old and falling apart but still functional. :) Personally I would...

    Toronto Harley/Ducatti dealer closed?

Aren't they a new dealership? That placed looked amazing, they must have sunk tons of cash into it, and now they are out of business? That's weird.

Trailer rental or home depot van?

Like some mentioned above me, U-HAUL is a good place to rent a van or a trailer, I rented from them a few times, prices were cheap and vehicles were available.

Trailer rental or home depot van?

You can rent a Home Depot van only if you purchase something from them and need the van to transport whatever you purchased. They don't rent for anything else.

Ducati 749/848 Or Honda CBR 600RR OR Suzuki GSX-R 600/750

Valves on my Duc were good and didn't need adjustment at 13000 and next time they need to be checked is 24 000. So, Jap bikes cheaper to maintain my ***.

    2012 zx14

ZX14 can probably out accelerate both the Apache and Concord. :D And if post above mine is correct, the 14 can even beat the Apache in top speed, now THAT'S impressive. :)

    Undecided and Confused.

I have nothing to prove, the guy asked me what I ride and I told him. Most of these people talking about how supersports are not good for beginners don't even own a supersport, majority actually own 250's so how can they tell others about ss bikes when they never rode one? I rode them and owned...

    Undecided and Confused.

I have redlined all three on many occasions and continue to do so for ***** and giggles. So I don't know what you mean by go over 10K rpm?

    Undecided and Confused.

Oh so I suppose you rode many supersports so you came to that conclusion? Says in your profile you ride a 250.

    Undecided and Confused.

Over the last 8 years I have owned 3 litre bikes, two ZX10R's and currently own a Ducati Streetfighter, so I know what I am talking about, I am not talking out of my ***.

    Undecided and Confused.

The guy owns a 600 pound Harley, ofcourse he is going to be ok with a little 600CC supersport. 600ss bikes are weak and gutless anyways, and would make a perfect beginners bike, but he is not a beginner so even a 1000 SS would be perfectly fine for him.

    z1000 or r1?

But R1 is awesome too so whatever you get, you are getting a badass bike. :)
  15. The Road Warrior

    z1000 or r1?

Yeah that's true but a naked bike is more street wild if you know what I mean, you are sitting more upright, have more torque down low, can do wheelies easier and it feels wilder because you have no fairings to protect your *** from wind and elements, it just feels more raw. You ride the fully...

    z1000 or r1?

Ha ha exactly. You don't buy naked hooligan because you want a docile and sane ride, you buy it because you want an aggressive bike that puts a grin on your face everytime you ride it.

    Motorcycles on HOV lanes

I'll have to check my HTA book, but I am pretty sure it mentions the yellow versus white somewhere. As far as I know yellow are the "suggested" and white are law. But I could be wrong....will check the HTA later, too lazy now. :D

    Motorcycles on HOV lanes

If they are yellow you can cross em. If they are white and solid, you are stuck till they are solid no more :)

    Undecided and Confused.

You already have a comfy Sportster and you want a sport bike, so my advice is get a supersport, that way you get to own both extremes and get to pick and choose the ride as you see fit. And since you already ride, it makes no difference what the displacement of your sport bike is going to be, in...

    Motorcycles on HOV lanes

What you said is a daily occurence on ALL roads, so it makes no difference what lane you are in and if it's HOV or not. You ride a bike and you need your spidey senses all the time, everywhere.
