Do you have a video of that? I know guys do figure eights in 2x2 parking spots with Goldwings - which is crazy - but doing it in a single spot in any bike seems a world more mind boggling to me.
As I try to imagine it, I think it would have been hard for me on my old BMX bike.
EDIT: Not...
Speaking of...if this were closer I'd seriously consider buying it.

Selling my dads old bike due to not being able to use anymore - Retro sporty classic, needs a few things to restore it's beauty (I'd remove huge wind shield personally) but solid runner. Has new...
To my eye that bike has the same blocky look through the front half as the Desert X:
Is all that thickness through the middle for an extra-large fuel tank?
Not sure there would be profit, but enthusiasts might scan them for their mutual benefit. Maybe offer the models for sale, to be downloaded and printed by the end user/buyer.
I know the profit motive dominates our thinking, but the success of open source software shows that people are willing...
I wonder why there aren't (more?) people scanning and 3-d printing plastics for older bikes.
There was a company that made replacement parts for a bunch of bikes, including my 87 Hurricane. When I lost all its plastics in a fire, I went looking for that company again. Sadly, I understand the...
When I sold a bike last year I had a guy who was all ready to buy. But he refused to meet at his house (the bike was at my sister's house; she has nice stuff and I didn't want people seeing them).
Fine, but then he refused to go with me to the MTO to transfer ownership, and said he would refuse...
The ABBA Skylift. It’s even sweeter. You can lift the front end at a pretty steep angle to save even more space or make it easier to move around. Way too rich for my blood though.
Thanks for the screenshots. I may pull the trigger, as long as whatever screws into the bike doesn’t look too ugly.
I've bought quite a few things from AliExpress for my bikes and not yet been disappointed, even while fully expecting to be.
I'm looking at their Bursig clones. I don't see anything like those on AliExpress. I have a problem which could be solved if I could rotate my bike around easily in a...
@PacoT I'd be happy to take a look at those posts - especially to figure out which domain they ordered from.
This might have been the stand you were looking at? It's their Bursig clone - I don't see an ABBA-style clone. He links to motea.com. As far as I can tell, "Constands" is branded and...
Here's a few reviews or experiences I found about "Motea". I provide them not as proof that they are (or are not) legit - but just to show that there are experiences people have reported - they are mixed in terms of overall support, but nothing that clearly indicates it is an out-and-out scam...
It's very weird. I believe "Motea.com" is an actual business - there are lots of (mixed) reviews and reports of buying from them and receiving product on various forums. But they make it very, very hard for customers to understand what is going on.
As far as I can tell, "motea.com" is their...
I'm looking at some of their products which seem well-priced, but reviews of the store itself are a mixed bag. Shipping times, lack of tracking information, and customer support seem to be the most common complaints.
It looks like they're based somewhere in Europe and would ship via...
I had a phone camera get fried for vibration. Fortunately work just got me a new one.
I don’t trust anti vibration systems. Unless they dampen 100% of the relevant frequencies, I figure it’s just a matter of time.
As for ecosystem lock- it’s a good thing that one exists for the Quadlock...
we had two first bikes.
One was a Honda Z50R. The Z50 series were called “Monkey bikes” and were the forerunner of today’s Monkey. With its low, low centre of gravity and super compact frame it was pretty much indestructible. There’s a Z50 club which shows them every motorcycle show it...
Mine doesn’t have doors on each end. I’m seriously thinking about one of the Bursig or one of the clones. Then I can turn the thing around easily. Front wheel could be cranked to one side to get a little more clearance.
I was needing to buy a new paddock stand for my single swingarm but a...
It's a lot smaller than I thought it was when I first saw the picture. I pictured something more like the rollers on bike trainers and therefore imagined it was for use in a garage.
Even as small as it actually is, is someone ever going to pack that thing on a trip for wheel cleaning or chain...
I’m way too short to duck walk my bike down. I’d have to back it down on foot.
I wish I had enough room inside to turn it around. That would be the best. I considered a few solutions but they’d all require me to have a big 8’ circle clear in the container. This thing is going to be tight as...
