    Buying gear from Europe

Oh wow. So what is in your carry on if not a helmet and a phone? That's like... 1/3rd of mine lol

    Buying gear from Europe

How so? If I land in Rome with no phone, 30 minutes after I get my suitcase, I'm at the train station at a Tim/Vodafone/WIND shop with a new cheapo phone and SIM in my hands. Getting to a shop that sells helmets, especially for anywhere near as cheap in that time? Good luck. I can read a paper...

    Long Way Home

Imagine, for just a moment, you're Charley Boorman... If you're smart, you already probably have some decent money squirreled away... How much money would they have to pay you to do another motorcycle trip with that wet blanket diva Ewan? Probably a lot more than you'd have to pay me to watch...

    Buying gear from Europe

I've used this bag for a couple years now and love it. - Made for helmet shape/size - Wide strap going across your body makes the helmet not feel heavy at all for real life use - Folds flat down to nothing, bring a couple thick rubber bands if you want maximum compression...

    Buying gear from Europe

Put my $$$$-helmet in with the luggage so it can get literally tossed by the luggage guys, and have other people's suitcases slammed on top of it? Dude... I'm finally at a place where I can buy an expensive helmet... but I'm not at a place where I can treat it that expensive helmet as...

    Buying gear from Europe

Does anyone know how much gear one might be able to bring back with them in their suitcase? lol I go to Italy every year. Stuff from a lot of brands are cheaper there. Because we spend our month in Italy traveling by motorcycle (the missus and I on one bike) we usually just check one backpack...

My brother in Christ, people are HARD UP for cash this year. This year, out of all of the years, is a terrific one for buying USED.

    Royal Enfield

Agreed. I bought a used T120 for only $500 more than what I sold my Interceptor 650 for... Now I currently have about $600 worth of parts I took off that T120 up for sale, so basically they were the same price as far as I'm concerned, and the Interceptor wasn't half the bike the T120 is. Well...

RE can't even make their rear brakes not fail, repeatedly, even after dealer servicing, repeatedly. Maybe do a little searching on GTAM and you'll find my thread about the recurring rear brake failures that many owners have faced (scary). You'll also find on here a thread from another Toronto...

That's not the only problem. Look into what they put into their clothes that companies over here won't put into clothing. It's not stuff you want on your body...

Personally I'm looking forward the sequel to @mimico_polak 's Scrambler sale saga. *SPOILER ALERT* In the sequel, after finally selling it, he surprises everyone and buys a new Ducati Scrambler.

Why not list those parts now, even though they're still on the bike, and see if they get any interest? Especially given that you don't currently have the bike listed for sale anyway. On a lot of bikes it makes more sense to take them off and sell them separately if you want to get the most $$$$...

Sold! Have you thought about putting yours back to stock (as much as can be easily done in an afternoon) and selling the goodies separately?
