I find mounting on the helmet gives best results(legal or not). Mounting on the bike, you may get vibration depending on how and where you mount it and it can make the video annoying to watch. There's lots of do-it-yourself mounting styles. Just do a google search.

I'm 100% certain there was a post on this topic. There are also known counterfeits out there of lesser quality. Buyer beware.

Sounds like an issue I had earlier this season. I hooked up my battery tender to my battery for a couple of days and she's good to go.

I've got a Shoei RF-1100 and some very thick framed glasses. Fits no problem. The only issue is when I'm at a red light and have the face shield down, my glasses tend to fog up. I either have to lift the face shield up or wait till I get moving again.

I recall reading (maybe on another forum or blog) that there were counterfeits of the GP Pros being sold at an extremely discounted price. There were subtle aesthetic differences but nobody mentioned how well they held up in the event of a get-off. Buyers beware!

I started off with a Scorpion EXO 750 ($250). It was great until it started to fall apart around the 1 year mark. Luckily I was on my way to pick up a Shoei RF-1100 ($500) when the Scorpion turned almost useless. What a world of difference in weight.
