Spark Issues! ... all the time?

Disconnect the pulse generator and switch the ignition on. Check to see if you still have sparks. No -> Check the resistance of the pulse generator and maybe replace? Yes-> Looks like the CDI is bad. Check for any loose or corroded connections at the CDI. Good Luck!

    Motorcycle died

My guess is the regulator/rectifier. When mine died in 2007 it was just under $200 fromt the dealer. I think yours will be less. ($68 US for 31600-HN5-671 at cheapcycleparts.com)

Where can I buy a 41mm fork clamp?

Thanks for the help. I will contact the local Motovan dealer and get it there. I like the 2 piece Pro-Tek, but shipping/duties can really add up. Since I am changing the fork oil, the fork will be comming off anyways, so I will slip it on then.

Couple of questions about a ninja 250 I bought last friday

    (1) Unknown plug: If Everything works, don't worry about it. -OR- Get a shop manual and look at the wiring diagram. (2) Tires cracks: Your tires need to be replaced ASAP. Check the DOT code to see when they were made, they must be very old!! (3) Chain slack: about 3/4" should be fine. Check the...

    chain "jingling" between 8-9K RPM

Tight spots in the chain can cause the chain to bounce at certin speeds. Last year I noticed the chain bouncing/tugging at a certain speeds. After looking at it, I noticed a few tight spots and replaced it (with new sprockets). Now it runs smooth.... (from what I can see in my shadow)

Tires: ContiGo vs. Sport Demon vs. BT45

I've been lucky with parts, my bike has only needed the usual maintenance stuff. Ebay has lots of stuff from time to time. I think Zdeno's has some VF's.

Tires: ContiGo vs. Sport Demon vs. BT45

The BT-45 is a great tire. I did use them on my 86 VFR, they wear quite well, with great grip. I got about 12,000 - 14,000 KM our of the rear, and would change the front every second rear. I even did a few track days on them with out any issues.
