A co-worker didn't pay a speeding ticket in NY about 15 years ago. 10 years later, he was arrested at the boarder.
Luckily, he was able to give his passenger his bank card and PIN to get the cash to pay the fines. They would not let him leave the jail to get money.
Oddly enough, he had been...
Not true... From page 44 of Paul Thede's book "Race Tech Suspension Bible" "Installation of the emulaotr does not change rebound damping, therefor, adjustment of rebound damping is made by changing the oil viscosity".
If you understand how they work, you will see they only work in compression.
I think if you over tighten the vortex caps it blocks the built in vent. Take the cap off and look for the small vent hole and mark it to make sure you don't block the vent.
I put them on my 86 VFR. They are worth it. Damping rod suspension is too harsh on square edge bumps and too soft on everything else.
The gold valve emulators only work on compression and you can tune the rebound with fork oil weight. The compression is tuned by the emulator spring tension...
Sounds like you should be good to go... (get it? "sounds", mic, audio... I kill me!)
What boom mic would you recommend for interviews with XLR connector?
Very nice... The video quality is MUCH better than any POV camera as there is not fish eye distortion.
Good luck with the audio... that will be more difficult than the bracket. Engines and wind noise are very loud and easily clip.
What bike???
If you bike is shaft or belt driven, you can't change the gearing.
Best ratio for what?
Why do you want to change your gearing? (more acceleration, better fuel economy, more top speed, lower highway RPM, etc..)
That is my next bike. IMO when the VTEC kicks in it is very abrupt (at least in 2007) an sounds like something broke. Add the crazy cost of adjusting valves = no way. (Shims are not used, so the lifter must be replaced if out of spec and the rads have to drained an moved just to check clearances.)
Does the system build pressure as it warms up?
FYI: WaterWetter has superior heat transfer properties compared to glycol-based antifreeze. It will drop your bike temps....
Sounds like the jet kit is not set up properly. I am thinking too much fuel too fast...
Give the carbs a proper cleaning, check the main jets for correct size and check the float level. Some jet kits require a specific size hole drilled in the carb slider.
Open them up and have a look!
