I saw a cab destroy a bike in front of rock tatto palour at 4am once, got the plate and called it in to the cops. Poor guys bike, the cab hit it going at least 60 and sped off.

I split lanes often but only to get ahead of the pack. I also wave to everyone I turn in front of to be polite. Speeding is tough. I base it on what I see, some roads its easy to hit 20-30 over but that's like lakeshore. I try not to go to crazy.

I park near the front of the space. Its pretty visible, my bikes a very noticeable color and I have it alarmed. Hopefully that keeps me safe Though it's not my bike, I appreciate what you did op.

My wife is to scared to ride by herself. For now she be on the back of my bike.

I think you're way to paranoid, seriously. No one steals 250's for one thing, they go after supersports. The guy was just interested in the bike, this is normal. I get people looking and staring at me and my bike ALL the time. You can't blame when you got a sexy bike :)

I've tested riding with earplugs only and found they let in more noise. I also have a yoshi carbon fibre pipe and the thing is loud. I had ringing in my ears right after though it went away. I've going to see if I get ringing in my ears from the headphones, I can't remember getting ringing...

Why didn't you go back to Ted after it crapped out again? You put yourself through your own grief, sorry to say. If that was me I would have brought the bike back, gotten it fixed, then if it happened again I'd ask to swap the bike for one that's less of a lemon. What did you expect from a $1000...
