Re: "Duck savior" gets 90-day sentence to be served on weekends + 10yr driving ban
A "privilege" is removed and 90 days? Doesn't sound like justice to me considering a woman's entire life has been turned upside down and 2 people are dead.
If the extent of the damage was personal injury, or...
Hearing that screech as you're stopped has to be the worst feeling ever. When I heard it one time at a red light nearly **** myself.
I think the hard breaking would have made the nose of the car lower a bit right? which is what sent him flying instead of squishing him.
Just take it easy for the first bit. I had both my tires done and first time I tried breaking I could feel it. Unlucky for me I had to ride in the rain as well but just give it a few rides before you go back to hitting the turns hot.
I passed in Aurora last Thurs. Put it off for a year and finally got around to doing it.
Wasn't really nervous, figured after all this riding it would be easy and in all honesty it was.
I did almost no prep before hand... Just skimmed the handbook to see what I would be doing and skimmed over...
Pretty sure people run because they can. I've never done anything as serious as run away on my bike. However, there was a time I had my dog off leash without a collar and an officer was sitting in his car doing reports of w/e at the park and he saw me. He comes over telling me how I have to show...
I ride a 2009 Ninja 250r, unfortunately I'm not even close to being 25 and insurance has/will kill me if I try and get a 600cc. I'm thinking of maybe upgrading to a Ninja 300 but ehhhh, I've come to love my 250.
Pretty much putting on 15,000km every season.
Noooooooooo it was like, a 1 min ride from my house rofl.
Oh well, guess I can make the trip down. They will prob get more business down there so good for them.
Just got onto campus right now, the commute was great. Roads were fine just a little wet, not slippery at all and hardly any salt. Bike is prob going into hibernation after today though. Can't wait to ride home later lol.
Wow, are people in here serious?
I'd argue that your safety on your motorcycle is almost 95 percent based on your riding abilities and 5 percent on others. I take my bike to clubs, to school, to work and the majority of the time I'm on local streets. I don't even mind riding in traffic and I've...
Quotes:
TD = $3200 yearly
Jevco = $4100 yearly
I'm currently with Statefarm and I'm paying $1250 a year for my Ninja 250
22, clean record and G for 5 years although when I was first insured I only had my G for 4 years. (I think he just put it in the system as 5 or something though) My...
They've added a new parking system, so the bar won't lift unless you insert your card or something. However, I noticed that the parking lot designated for staff had a short bar and I could easily squeeze around it and I was able to park my bike right by the stairwell where everyone used to park...
I have 3.
I have my "flashy" one with a design, then I have a plain one that I'll take if I know I'll have to leave my helmet on my bike (like if I go to a club or something) and I have one for my gf.
I'll never look at cops the same way. One tried to nail me today for a "rolling stop" and only let me off with a "warning" once I told him the camera on my bike was filming and I would show him the footage if he wanted to see for himself.
It wasn't actually filming but he didn't call my bluff...
