    I borrow a pair of gloves and used my work steel toe boots for my course as well. that's all you really need for the course. but if you want to use the gear after the course, you should look at getting something you like. Otherwise you will end up throwing the cheap stuff out and buying better...

    cbr250 engine shuts off randomly when clutch pulled in

    I have over 3000km on my cbr250r, no problem with the engine shutting off either. knock on wood. My friend has the same bike, no issue on his either, as far as I know.

    CBR 125 vs Ninja 250

    the cbr125 is a good bike to start with. If you cannot afford the 250, I would start riding now with the 125, instead of waiting to save up money for the ninja 250.

    I wear glasses as well, I have the Arai Vector 2 and it fits my glasses perfectly. Just bring your glasses with you when trying on helmets. And I use a tinted visor in the day and switch to a clear visor at night. Go to Riders Choice, GP bikes or Royal to try on all different types of helmet...

    New to the Forum, Need some advise on buying my 1st bike(Again, i know :)

    +1 I took my M1 exit course with RTI as well and signed up for my M2 exit course with learning curve for end of April. I started on a 250 last year and will be taking a 4 day course with Racer5 this summer! Can't wait!
