I would say 2500 is even being generous!! He claims to have gone in the engine which scares me more than makes me think he's a pro, and all the "custom" work is off the DCC shelves. 5k is reserved for like beautiful cafes... that is a glorified rat racer.
Anybody for a nearly $12k Dime City Cycles refurb? Apparently the carbs are tuned exquisitely...

Right but they do control parking permits which is what we're talking about... are you not allowed to put anything besides the renewal sticker on a plate or something?
In case you didn't get a chance to call I just did because I'm in the same boat.
They said you are supposed to put it on the left handlebar, but can also put it next to the plate. Why they wouldn't develop a sticker program for the plate itself is beyond me, too logical for the city I guess...
Although I'm no fan of it I'm sure all of you have seen videos on YouTube of swarms of stunt bikers doing craziness in the streets and when the cops come they gun it away or lead them on for miles in a huge group.
My question is how do they get away with it? Doesn't the cop just jot down the...
Yeah it's weird eh, I guess its just gonna happen or its not right? Like unless its like a highly sought after sport bike it's just gonna be wrong place wrong time scenario...
Yeah I know I'll have to get the permit, but it is free. My question is just regarding if anyone does it because like you said, they can just chuck it into the back of whatever in less than 2.
So I'm finding it hard to get the info I'm looking for basically because searching for "parking" and "street" and "overnight" return a lot of results that I'm not looking for.
Basically I'm wondering what people on here do who don't live in a condo building or obviously a house with a garage in...
Wow people actually ride them? I just assumed they got chopped up or sent overseas or something... I feel like a custom cafe would be very ballsy to continue to ride in the city... I know if mine got stolen and I saw someone driving it I'd try my first and last dropkick on a moving motorcycle!
Hey all, recently moved to TO and getting ready to get my '77 CB750 brat/cafe style on the road in town. There's obviously a wealth of info on these forums about best practices to try to keep your bike as safe as it can be, I was just wondering if the thieves in this town tend to be discerning...
another thing is if you could convince the board that thefts are a problem, and theres enough riders in your building to warrant this, they could take two or three spots and build a cage around them so you would have to get into the cage as well to get the bikes. Now I know that's not much extra...
Has anyone ever tried buy a shed and building it in their spot? I mean condo board would probably have to okay it and it would be best in like a corner spot so it just looked like a place for keeping tools and stuff but if you're willing to incur the expense and (probable) inconvenience of a...
