Given the stated conditions (short A to B city riding) buy the cheapest tires that will fit your rims.
However, if you decide to ride to Montreal and back one weekend don't be surprised if they are worn out when you get home.
To put it simply, you don't need a special reason to do an oil change.
If you feel that given the situation your bike could use an oil change, change it.
Four litres of oil is not a huge amount of money.
If the VIN passes the stolen test and the unbranded test then you get an ownership.
If there is any problem at all then you're screwed.
Before buying the motorcycle get the UVIP package.
At least it will tell you how many hoops you will have to jump through BEFORE you buy.
Or better still buy...
You can't use plates on a vehicle unless the plates are registered to that vehicle.
Car, truck, motorcycle...it doesn't matter.
The dealer will generally transfer the plates for you.
It is illegal to park anywhere in Toronto longer than 3 hours.
It is only enforced when there is a complaint and the complaint must be made by a person who lives on that street.
Signed one and two hour parking does not require a complaint.
An excellent example of far too little information to reach a conclusion.
What was the offence on the ticket This is the only way to determine if you should fight it.
If the offence was not displaying a receipt then motorcycles are exempt.
But if you were parked too close to a hydrant or too...
I sold my BMW earlier this year. Once the snow starts to fall, I will go to the dealer to look at any 2017s they have in stock.
With the various posts on this thread I stopped by Service Ontario to see if the ownership had changed. It hadn't.
The plate number is now listed as "unattached".
I lived in Ottawa for several years. I took several green plastic trash bags, cut them apart and then sealed them with shipping tape.
Some weights on either side and stored the bike in the backyard against the fence on the windward side out of the wind. Battery removed.
First pleasant day...
This is highly unusual. A prosecutor is unlikely to call a witness if they have no idea what the witness is going to say ahead of time.
Has your friend had any contact with the prosecutor in this case? Did he previously give a statement to the police?
He has been summonsed so he must appear...
There is no free parking at Exhibition Place.
The city passed a special bylaw over 20 years ago making it so.
It requires enforcement however. Toronto Parking Enforcement only patrols when the CNE requests enforcement.
So if you are the only vehicle parked illegally, you will probably get away...
A car or motorcycle is worth what the seller can get for it.
From your point of view there should be a substantial discount for it being non current.
From the dealer's point of view he had to use his line of credit and pay interest on it to purchase it from the maker.
If its still in stock after...
I went for the first time in May last year.
It was raining but the forecast was for clearing later.
I pulled into town about 9:30 just as the rain stopped. I still had to park 3 streets away.
I walked up and down Main St. a couple of times.
The vendors were selling cheap HD accessories for top...
There is a process for getting an Ontario plate for a bike that was never registered.
It is long, involved and wastes a great deal of your time.
I have purchased several bikes in the past and I refuse to touch one that is in Ontario but doesn't have an Ontario registration.
Be afraid. Be very...
I was afraid my comment was outdated as they keep changing the regulations.
I thought the blue lights on the TTC indicated a night bus (the vomit comet).
Are they now for disabled as well?
Front rider comes to stop and waits for rear rider.
Rear rider comes beside front rider and stops.
Both riders leave at the same time. Rear rider returns to position after leaving stop sign.
In Ontario a combination of red and blue is now reserved for emergency vehicles (police, fire and ambulance).
Blue only is reserved for MOT vehicles like snow plows.
Amber is unregulated, but you run the danger of some idiot thinking its a turn signal.
I would stick with white.
Prince Edward county is justly proud of their apples.
There are a large number of apple cider places. Careful though some have a very high alcohol content.
There are an increasing number of local wineries as well.
