Just for some sort of refrence my 2012 ninja 650 have just over 1000km on it and I'm getting about 4.5L/100km, mixed riding, most of my rides are over 30km.

v guards as well, great point about then fitting well under pants with its low profile. The top strap can get a little uncomfortable at times as the velco can bite if not aligned exactly with each other.
