when financing a motorcycle; what kind of coverage is required? are you able to just get comprehensive or is collision required?

I'm about to upgrade from a cbr250r to cbr500r and was wondering if I could use my scorpion parallel slip on exhaust from my cbr250 onto the new cbr500. Aside from it may not aligning with the bolts to hang the exhaust, is there any technical problems by doing this?
