Can I borrow some of your spare R6 parts for a track day Please?

Also not legal in CSBK and adds just one more thing to the giant list of things to deal with at the track.

    Track bike insurance

I was never asked for any paperwork but I'm assuming as long as you have a BOS or some sort of paperwork you'd be ok. Could always call and find out...

    Track bike insurance

The place I insure with has a $30k min policy which is around $200 more than what you were quoted and I think it has the same deductible. If my bike and gear were worth less than $5k I probably wouldn't worry about insuring it but it adds up really quickly when you think about loosing your...

    Track bike insurance

I wouldn't count on your home insurance to cover a vehicle in your garage, lisecned or not. I know my bike isn't covered under my homeowners policy.

He should come to GTAM, he could learn a thing or two about throttle control.

using low viscosity rated oil in summer (ie: 5w-40 instead of 10w-40)

I switched from a 10-40 to a 10-50. I found the 40 broke down quicker and my engine was noisier sooner during a race weekend.

Customer Indian Dirt Track Bikes Ready For Order

You're clearly the intended market. Not sure why they'd steal the name from an H-D race team but it's good to see H-D being mopped up now. Hopefully they'll step up their game, not just give up and be sore losers. And $60K dirtbikes? It isn't cheap to develop a winning motorcycle and when...

    What's with the leg thing?

I think the leg dangle has been adapted to road racing after so many riders have been training flat track. Once you start sliding the bike with your leg out it becomes second nature. As for dragging knee, I don't know if my knee has touched more than 10 times this entire season. I know I'm...

I can't make it more than 10min into "Twist of the wrist". Maybe I should watch them and learn a thing or two about how to ride these things.

Thnak you John Bickle, for your ''Thankless job''

John, I think you should also help people physically park to make sure they're straight. We could use some help in hot pits for canopy placement as that's another **** show.

Bikes needing premium gas getting short end

It's not an issue. Fill up your bike and your jerry can with premium (most guys use shell 91) and enjoy your day. I've ran two seasons on a built motor using pump fuel with no issues (it's still running too). Don't worry about octane boost either. Unless you pump 2L of fuel at a time this whole...

    Chain slack

Lol actually that's kind of what it's like to ride a 180hp bike around a small track. Keep your *** in the seat and watch your lap times grow. I'll eventually figure out how to work the the throttle but for now it's just an on/off switch. Its partially there but I cut it away to make gearing...

Bikes needing premium gas getting short end

No way you'd be able to detect performance loss from 1L of regular fuel in a 17L tank. It's all in your head.
