    Frustrated with Quotes

I have worked in insurance claims for about 3-4 years (now doing sales) and can tell you without doubt, that we can find out if you are trying to fix your insurance. With the internet, there are many ways to confirm information and many ways of asking questions without it looking like we are to...

comprehensive, specified, collision, liability > which one and deductibles

Hi OP, The standard coverage in Ontario is as follows: Liability - Bodily Injury, coverage for injury to 3rd parties Liability - Property Damage, coverage for damage to 3rd party property (guard rails, fences, etc) Accident Benefits - coverage for your injuries Direct Compensation -...

    Insurance Company Won't Process Claim

I'm not sure why there are making such a fuss on the day it goes in. If it's driveable they should book it for the first available monday at a shop of your choice or one of their preferred vendors, its really not an issue. Also if you are deemed 100% Not At Fault a rental car is covered. Are...

Does anyone have experience with The Economical Insurance Group Waterloo?

I'm surprised you were able to get any information from them in the first place. They treat Exprience Letters as if they were top secret government files. I have had client that have had to go all the way to the ombudsman to finally get their claim history confirmed.

Does anyone have experience with The Economical Insurance Group Waterloo?

Wouldn't the Audi be a cheaper car to insure. The VRG for AB must be lower than a Corolla which is 5. True the Collision Comprehensive and DCPD ratings would be higher on the Audi but AB ratings I find tend to drive the rate more than the others do.

Fighting a ticket when the officer could've issued additional tickets

I seriously doubt that he wasn't passing on the shoulder. This isn't a careless ticket, which is subjective. You are either on the shoulder or your not. He actually could not produce valid insurance hence the ticket fail to "show" insurance card. He may have insurance, but that has nothing...

    More insurance worries

Another condition of your travel policy to confirm is whether or not your travel insurer pays the expense directly the the healthcare provider. Some insurance policies will only reimburse you after your have paid the expense, which can be extremely difficult to do. This could delay your...

    Insurance for young rider

No Fear, would you be able to shed some light on the actual cost of a bike, licence and the insurance cost during these generic times, maybe even throw in the rate of inflation from then until now. Also the "generation" that is insuring you may not be so off from your own age. We are not all...

    Insurance for young rider

The part of the policy that is "rich" is your Accident benefit coverage not the Liability. The other government run insurance provinces do not have half the amount of accident benefit coverage. That is why we pay more than other provinces.

Not At-Fault but forced to pay $300?

An insurance company must return your deductible if you are held not at fault for an accident (unless you opted for a deductible under DCPD, which is extremely rare). The issue with regards to this claim is that in order for the insurance company to waive the deductible they have to confirm...

Not At-Fault but forced to pay $300?

I feel for your situation. When invovled in an accident your coverage comes 1 of 3 places, Collision (atfault), DCPD (not at fault) and Uninsured Auto. Because the other driver is uninsured, your coverage falls under UA. This means that is a $300 ded and your rental car is covered up to a...

    Insurance for young rider

Ontario needs a policy that covers less Accident Benefit coverage for it to be in line with the government regulated provinces, its not simply a matter of it being government vs private insurers. Even with the changes they made to the coverages Ontario has the richest insurance policy in Canada.
