Fiberglass resin and regular bondo

Fibreglass mat on the back for strength and bodyfill on the surface to smooth it out. You can usually sand the resin down pretty flat but the bodyfill is needed to get things closer to perfect.

100% you should be not downshifting there.

There's a seam there that holds water. It seeps out and takes a long time to fully dry. I almost went down there before, Trombino went down there, Hornblower went down there, the two riders today went down there, all because of the water in the seam.
