All fixed. Tried one more option before taking drastic measures. Tried the allen key that came with the bike :( apparently it must be a custom size and "barely" worked. Well...this is embarrassing.
Just bought some new rear brake pads for my 2010 ninja 250. Went to remove the old ones and noted that one bolt (which is flush with the caliper) was partially stripped. I tried removing it with the correct allen key but cannot get it out and don't want to make it worse (I know I used the...
I'm surprised people know about UOIT now. I graduated from there 3 years ago (grad class of 2009) and it was funny applying to jobs because most employers thought I was making the school up. You going to school there right now?
Saw what I think was a dark red older model ninja 600. I followed you on Mississauga road from lakeshore to Burnhamthorpe, then you turned. Also, I see a lady on a black Ducati riding north on Mississauga road by the 401 everyday around 5:30pm. Nice bike!
How does the test work? City traffic alone can read up to 85dB and if they are completing roadside testing I would think this "white noise" can contribute a large amount of the reading on its own. (Normal conversation is at 65dB. A lawnmower is 107 dB). I'm relying on the site below for these...
I considered it, but I am moving this winter and wanted to save the hassle of moving a winterized bike. Would the selling price vary that much from fall to spring for a ninja250?
I will likely be selling my '10 Ninja 250 this fall and upgrading in the spring. I wanted your opinions on my asking price and if I am being too optimistic. (I was hoping for 4,000).
- I am original owner, purchased from Kahuna.
- Bike has 13,000km but will have around 16,000 by end of season...
I think it would be great to have an alarm device for bikes in condos that would not allow any vehicles to leave the parking garage if the alarm went off until security went down and checked it out. Once the alarm goes off it locks the exit door and security will have to let each car out and can...
Thanks to the cruiser (with blue under-body LEDs) who let me pass you at the light on Lakeshore Road in Burlington. Also saw a ....CBR600??.....cruising down erin mills parkway. Looked like a lady with a shirt with "13" on the back. I went through the light...nice bike, love the exhaust.
Try State farm. I am 25 with no tickets or accidents on my record and currently pay $39 / month. I Started at around $130/month but as soon as I had one full season of riding experience and turned 25 my rates dropped substantially. Ninja250 as well....hoping for a new bike next season if money...
I've been riding for a few years now, but solo for the most part. I'm moving out to Milton in November and the plan is to sell the 250r just before the move and pick up a 600cc next spring. Any good meet-ups / group rides in the Milton area?
I guess technically it will not be on the "sidewalk" There is a small bike rack area in the corner next to my office building which I think is owned by the landlord. I may give it a shot tomorrow and ask security on my way in if its allowed. Would be very convenient and also save me a lot on...
There are probably other posts....feel free to link me to them if there are (I searched but couldn't find any).
I keep seeing scooters parked on the sidewalk in Toronto...is this now allowed? And can I park my bike with them?
Are there any options available for bigger gas tanks for sport bikes? Specifically 600cc models (cbr 600, gsxr 600, R6, triumph street triple or daytona 675). If so, can you provide a webpage to purchase?
