Saturday ride is a bust (not happening). I will be attending another ride under the post to this link:

For Sunday, there will be a ride at 2:30pm starting from the Tim Horton's at...
Hey bornagainnewb, I would like to encourage you onto the Sunday, June 2nd ride. If you are at all unsure if you can make it, then enjoy a ride or two over the next week. Maybe we can see you for June 9th.
MR
Thanks Bryantist. It was time and fun well spent. The group and the ride was really good!
I look forward to seeing you on another ride. If you are hopeful for the North of Orillia ride, and you are ready for let's say 300km (maybe 4 hours) for the day, you are likely to enjoy the...
Hey don't worry about it... I know we will see you out sooner or later. Bringing 'the lady' is cool. Maybe by example, anyone else looking to bring a passenger might see that your extra person might slow you down a bit. Always good to plan to arrive a bit earlier to minimize any regret.
Sunday...
hehe... YUP, that was us!
That was one of our first rides of that size this year. I've done 4 group rides so far for 2014.
We meandered around Old Finch, the Zoo and Twyn Rivers. Then we traced out a route up Reesor and through the round-about on Pickering Town Line and beyond to find ourselves...
Please do join if you wish. We'll meet in 25 minutes from now.
Remember to be gas-filled and there will be about 30 min to fill your belly (or sweet-tooth) before the ride.
For more information, please browse through the forum blogs over the past 2 weeks to 'catch-up'.
See you all shortly...
MR
It is possible. :-)
BTW , the ride is on today for 2:30pm at Tim Horton's in Scarborough at Morningside & Shepard.
See you all there who wish to join in.

This is a plan in the works, but it is not set as yet: Sunday, May 25th at 2:30pm to meet at Tim Horton's in Scarborough at Morningside & Sheppard. I will confirm or decline this plan by tomorrow morning 9:00am.
BTW KGB, what type of riding are you looking forward to?
MR
Hey LeMotorcycleRider, glad you picked up some new and good tips. Practice makes you better. Definitely happy that you didn't panic on the route. There are other places and roads to discover. If you are up for another ride, we'd be glad for you to join us.
BTW, LeMotorcycleRider is a Kawi 300...
Yes, it was a very good ride today. There were 4 of us. Thanks to Mahonah, LeMotorcycleRider and ...Kel on the ZX6R. Plans for tomorrow are not set, but any riding will need to be after 2:00pm. Any ideas? ...pass 'em along.
And thank you to all who joined us! :thumbleft:

Tauton Road twists until you get Church Road (1.6km after Brock)between Pickering & Ajax. After that you may be better off looping up (North) on Westney, then East or West on Hwy 7. of East, then double back up Brock for some rolling turns. If West, then you may plan for Port Perry (East) or...
The first part of the ride will be around the Metro Zoo, Reesor Road, Beare Road and the Twyn Rivers Road area. After that, we will be heading North on roads that may be 80km/h posted. We will not be taking the 401, 400, 427 or any other King's or Queen's Highways.
After the 90 minute ride...
This will completely depend on the people who show up. The ride will not be at a fast pace. It will also not be at a "First-Day-Ever Learning 101" pace. We are unlikely to be passing other vehicles unless they are tractors or bicycles or trucks going uphill with a blown turbo... or another form...
Group rides vary. It usually depends on the company and the destination. This ride may be in 2 parts. The first will be about 90 minutes. After that, we can branch off for another ride, maybe through Durham and beyond.
The major variable is the people who show up. Choices will most likely be...
hehe... I really wasn't thinking of any snobbing. It can be a challenge to blog relatively short messages like you are having a live conversation. The reality is these are discrete text msgs in slow motion.
nvncbl is very likely exactly the type of person who I and the others here would enjoy...
Hello bornagainnewb. You have picked a good group to ride with. Our focus is on newer riders and those preferring a cool pace to tour at.
Our next event/ride will be Saturday, May 24th, 11:00am. The meeting place will be the Tim Horton's at Morningside and Sheppard. There is also an Esso gas...
