Same here, my xj motor also matched the vin#.

Lol, what cruiser are you talking about. Both my 500 and 1100 in first gear could smoke that 125. Stop being such a *** or get off the site. Everyone who owns a bike is part of one big community. If you dont like it then sell your bike and go buy a scooter.

Does your speedo run down and mounts on the side of the rim? My older shadow has it. I would take a look at that first. Mine made a HORRID grinding noise. I though I blew my front bearing too but ended up being the speedo.

X2 I have been doing the same thing. 1 because it is safer and 2 my exhaust sounds nicer.:cool:

Around 8:30 turning left on Queen st S comming off of Britannia Driving a lime green Ninja with lime green glow. I was in my cage so you wouldn't have seen me.

Saw you guys at the spot today. I was in my cage heading down to get some bike parts for my newest addition.

X2 Put it on a stand and try that first. My bike is the same way, doesnt even feel like there is a 2nd gear when sitting still. You have to have it moving to hit second.

X2 I do this all the time on bikes that haven't been started in a few years or that haven't started all winter. It helps with heating the plugs. It will do wonders for a bike that is flooded.
