Ah the joys of weather watching - the forecast has changed about 10 times since Monday, so I'm trying not to check again until Thursday - I'm making an extended weekend of it anyway and have a motel for Saturday and Sunday night so I'm hoping for nice weather both days and am good for either.

One day would be a stretch with the shorter daylight hours and you could miss peak colour in October - the mountains turn earlier. Northern PA might be a better bet - or Finger Lakes region has beautiful fall foliage as well and turns later in the year, but not very exciting roads. Same...

There are lots of nice/evil corners in that part of PA. But lots of times in the fall it can be more about how hard you can brake than how fast you can corner - a big amorous buck standing in the middle of the road making goo goo eyes at the cute doe-eyed doe on the other side will straighten...

This is a great idea though - gives a chance for those with varying routes or riding styles to enjoy a little socialization at the end of the day - and swap new great road stories (or speed trap stories -:). This might be a sticky post?
