Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes... Yeah, I know. Those are Danner boots that I bought only recently for $275 but they're not proper riding boots. I got them because the Vibram soles give me a solid grip on the ground but they stick on the bike's controls.

Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes... Actually I was going to buy it for $12,500. I'm glad I went for the CBR600 and later the CBR1000 as these bikes suit my riding style better. The F800S appears to have flopped in the market I guess.

Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes... I had a deposit down for a yellow BMW F800S in 2007, but unfortunately I hurt myself at the Humber course so I had to cancel the purchase. Later I bought a CBR600 instead.

Those two look like exactly the same picture. I had to look several time to spot the differences.
