Have always enjoyed riding alone (selfish?) I can go as fast and as far as I want, take butt breaks when I want and go to all the places I want. Tried group rides but find the level of expertise in the groups and the terrain chosen can (and) has been detrimental to the riders.

Just got back from 10,000 km trip to Colorado/Yellowstone. Every time I was asked for ZIP code using my Scotiabank VISA card the postal code plus two zeros always worked! Saved me a lot of time :p

I have always changed my oil before I take a trip and then don't worry about it. My annual trips are 4 weeks + and generally are 12 - 15,000 Kms. My dealer mechanic has no problems with this tactic as long as I eventually get the recommended service as per warranty. Now tires are another thing...
