The Kawasaki 300 is actually called an "EX300". The ZX line is the title that Kawasaki uses to signify their high end bikes.
It's ok you will pick these things up over time.
You are pulling statements made about two different bikes here. The CBR300R is heavily out performed by it's...
I have no problem with the X or the CB for that matter because they are not pretending to be more capable than they are. The " CBR" on the other hand has no business using that title. It barely out performs the other manufacturers 300cc bikes an many would probably choose a 300 for track duty...
Yes I have ridden all 3 of the Jap 300's. I own a 2013 Ninja SE and a friend of mine has a 2015 R3 that I have spent significant time on btw, upwards of 400km's. His younger brother owns a CBR300R and asked to swap bikes with me on a day ride up north last fall.
It's a Honda, nothing special.
You guys need to worry about yourselves. I honestly couldn't care less what you think of new riders. Everyone starts somewhere so when you're done sucking each other off in the mirror we might be able to have a real conversation about... Well you know motorcycles.
Isn't that why we are all here?
I don't give a flying **** if they would leave me behind on a bicycle. This has nothing to do with me so go tryhard on someone else big shot.
Let the guys talking about bikes, talk about bikes. Go to a deprived housewife forum if you want to ***** and moan.
That's great and all but I don't care about race bikes. There are modded 2 stroke scooters out there that would leave tons of street bikes in the dust. Doesn't mean they aren't a joke.
I think the majority of people would agree Yamaha is putting out the deepest lineup right now.
A new fireblade is due and should be a solid piece. Honda needs to come out with a proper contender in the 300cc class as well, their cbr3 is an embarrassment.
I mean as a whole Honda is probably at the back of the pack. They have a couple neat projects like the Africa Twin but as a whole the company is completely uninspired right now.
Yamaha
Kawasaki
Suzuki/Honda
Honda/Suzuki
Nowhere in my post did I say anything about it being a wise business decision so don't put words in my mouth.
We will always pay a premium because Motorcycles in Canada are a hobby and if you have thousands to spend on a hobby you must have disposable income, thus we pay more for everything...
I don't know exact numbers but on average Ontario seems to have a 20% mark-up over the rest of provinces. Now I'm not talking about all policies, just the ones that are typically deemed "risky".
There is only one way to lower insurance in Ontario.
One company has to undercut everything else by a significant margin and cause a large scale cancelation of policies.
So who's starting an insurance company?
I remember when it first came out, the name was a running joke to everyone. It ruined the image of the bike before it even went on sale.
An the new SV is hella boring to look at but people are claiming it to be the next cool thing. This bike could have came out in 2002 and it would fit right...
They call the SV a Gladius and everyone hates it and then they slap the SV badge back on it and it's an instant contender :lmao:
Classic crowd mentality. The "new" SV650 is boring as sin to look at. I know it's whole premise is "old is new" again but the way people have bought into it is almost...
