Gt250R has an inverted fork. Does this mean if its a fork seal leak then it should leak from the top or bottom of the fork ? I see some fluid buildup on the lower side of the fork.

Hey guys, my bike 2009 Gt250R is leaking some drops of fluid from the left front side of the bike as well as the foot stand area. I am not sure if its the fork seal problem or if its the brake fluid thats leaking :( EDIT: Its the left fork thats leaking. Am i looking around 300-400 to fix this ?

Is this the dogbone link ? I can see that I can raise the bike and get it adjusted on the lower hole to raise the bike. Is this all I need to do ? How much dollers am i looking to spend here. Do you think this is gonna make much of a difference on the bike height?

Thanks guys ! I will call the insurance companies next month and see how much of a difference there is with 250cc and the bikes you guys mentioned. If its not too much ill just get those sport touring bikes :)

Im planning to try an insurance broker to find me the cheapest insurance for my motercycle this season but do they REALLY find me the cheapest quote? Dont they just give us a quote of companies they work for since they probably get a higher commission % ?

Hello, I know supersport bikes are extremely expensive to insure but does anyone know any sporty looking bike( inline 4 ) that is not considered a supersport, I know 250s are cheaper to insure but personally they sound so bad compared to supersports.

I am also thinking of getting a bike this summer. I got M2, Im 22. Do you think it will cost me about $2k for a 250? & if we they ask us to pay the insurance for the year upfront, what happens if i cancel the insurance during November ?

I have a driving license however I have never been insured because I dont have a car. So when I decide to buy a bike and insure with statefarm would they consider me as having a clean driving record ? Or no driving experience at all ? I know they require 5 years with a driving license.
