Do not be surprised of people who buy it. They have researched the market. If one affords paying 32K for an 1199R or 55K for a Superlegera,... then the price of their gear should match the price of their bike in my opinion.

What is so special about vfr800? I know they were discontinued but now they are back on Honda website. Sellers asking over 11k for a 2009 is just ridiculous.

School provides no bike mate. If you want to ride, buy a cheap bike (less than $2000 like a cbr125,...) take the test with it, then ride it or sell it with little depreciation. If you do not want to ride, you do not need to upgrade your license and need no bike either. Simple...
