I agree. I too like the sharp angular looks of the new modern bikes to some extent, but nothing looks quite as sleek to me as the soft flowing lines of the 90's bikes. So sexy. Thankya sir :) On another note, I just looked at the 14-day trend... looks like crap until the 27th...

Haha, well I'm tempted to post the few pics I took following reassembly, but the job isn't totally complete yet. The old dark purple mirrors are mounted to hold the front fairing on, and the pillion handle at the back still needs to be shot with something as well, a color I haven't totally...

Well, checking in. It's getting to be about that time... Can't wait! Just finished painting her... last coat went on the tank last night, tossed the headlight assembly, ram air ducting & signals/wiring into the front fairing, installed it back on bike along with rear cowls. Side fairings needed...

I went for a ride today. A bit brisk... was 8 degrees out when I left, was 6.5 when I got back. Hands were the only thing that really felt cold, but that's because I'm dealing with improper gloves. Gonna grab some at the January show methinks... Initially it started out as "let's start the bike...

Damn, missed you guys by 5 min then. I literally pulled in and parked at 8:35. Oh well... Had a good day of riding regardless, and went on to enjoy a few hours more of awesome night riding as well. If I wasn't out all day riding around the countryside I would've thought to check the thread...

Well, I stuck around for an hour, if nobody shows in the next 5 min, I'm hittin' the road. Shame, it's a nice night!

Hm, yeah... Thursday looks like the better option if you ask me; Sunny all day, high of 21. The low is only 13, so it'll probably still be well above that around 8. What does everyone else think? Is that an option?

Looks like we're getting a break in weather after all... unfortunately I'm probably -1 tonite. Other things to deal with. If I'm done earlier than expected, I'll take a blast out that way and see if there's still people around. How late do you guys stick around? At any rate, if I don't make it...

Well, I hope The Weather Network is right, because Environment Canada's site is telling me Wed is going to be cloudy w/ 60% chance of showers... :( They're also claiming tomorrow (Tuesday) is going to be sunny, a steady 14 degrees, 0% chance of precip... If EnvCan ends up being correct instead...

Not only does it look like it'll be colder by the time tomorrow night rolls around, but calling for "a few showers ending near midnight then clearing" with a low of plus 1. The high during the day is only 13, and we all know that by 8pm, it's not going to be anywhere near the daytime high...

Oh, so not terribly far then, just a quickie. That's cool. I was sorta hoping for maybe a Forks or Hockley run, but I'm still down for some local cruising. A brisk pace is nice too. As it happens, I've actually never been to Kennedy Commons, so at least I'll see something new :)

Ah right on, where you guys usually ride to? What sort of pace does everyone keep? I went out tonite, but took off down the 410/403 to my buddy's place in 'sauga... got caught in some pretty dense fog on the way there, so decided I wasn't going to try to make my way east on the 401 to get to...

FWIW, Environment Canada's satellite and radar maps for the GTA look clear for at least the next 6 hrs. Roads were dry up here in Brampton when I was out in the car earlier as well. Also, first post! Hello :)
