Bike in Q is 98 ZX6R.. Parked the on the stand last november(2013) (working). Poured recommended amount of fuel stabilizer and ran it for a bit. I made mistake of not removing the battery or attaching battery tender. Took out the battery couple of weeks ago and connected it to battery...

He ended up doing only 2 shims and replaced the valve cover. the cover was wrongly placed from the last time someone opened it up (previous owner). Also, he did me a favor...

thanks for the reply. It surprised me as well. I took the bike there to get checked and make sure it is working fine mechanically.. I called kahuna and coupe of other dealer; they said same thing that you just open the top and you do not need oil change. I am surprised as many people on gtam...

I am not a tech so I thought I should ask here. I took the bike to champion cycle and talked to the guy about weird valve noise and a leak near valve gasket. He recommended to adjust valves since it sounded like it needed it..Also, he said he has to do oil change with that. all is going to cost...
