If you want to go cheap buy an xt laptimer, and try to get a good used one. I bought mine off wera13x forum in the classifieds for just over $100 shipped. You really don't need a beacon someone almost always has one setup.

From my experience if you can afford the extra buy a D.I.D chain,they tend to stretch the least and best quaility.

I know that hole all to well! Last year I hit that hole and came right off the seat, but by chance i saved it even though i was like a rag doll being tossed around.
